I can't understand English fans. Do you truly believe that when the ball is gone and a Stoke player kicks an Arsenal player to the ground it's because Arsenal aren't 'men'?
If you're anything like the apes I encountered at the ground you probably will (the guy behind me said about 7 or 8 times 'How can it be a foul ref he's gone for the ball' - I felt like turning around and saying 'they're missing it everytime you buffoon' alas, I'm nicer than that). I despair at the teachings of football in this country. No wonder our national team has been so unsuccessful we actually encourage this, don't we? (some of us, I believe football should be played with the ball not on people's shins)
There's a difference between a competitive game and one where one team just kicks the other nearly every time they get the ball. You seem to be struggling with that
How many times were Arsenal players "kicked to the ground" off the ball then?
Can't be talking about the same game because the one I watched there was no cards and the only dubious decisions were against us, massively (1 goal conceded and 1 stonewall penalty denied), as per usual.
Edit - I'm not referring to one player like Rooney or Drogba who put their bodies about (rarely see them hack the opposition down)
Yea hopefully.
TBF all they were really doing was hoofing it to Beckford.
When he's gone i can't see them doing that well.
On to my second dislike: the ill-fated long ball. The reason I’ve found a passionate dislike for it recently is largely due to Harry Redknapp’s team selection. I think you will all know what I’m talking about. My new found dislike of this obscene way of playing football has much to do with Harry’s obsession with playing Crouch upfront, meaning that every player wearing a white shirt suddenly forgets that they’re quite capable of passing the ball on the floor and decide instead that they would prefer to hopefully hoof the ball up field for Crouch to header aimlessly.
I don't see him do it anymore, I saw him do it once a few weeks ago but apart from that I thought he'd stopped doing it
I'm probably moaning too much, it's annoyed me recently with both the Bolton games, then it happened to me (and didn't stop till my knee was screwed) when I was playing and then Stoke did it a handfull of times, I'm super alert to fouls at the minute
