Load order was posted earlier. It is not exactly my current load order, as i change it all the time but i'm not on my main PC atm so i couldn't post it anyway:)

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=19573147&postcount=151

It is by no means perfect, but could be used as a (very rough) guide as the game was stable for me at that point. I have since added and removed various mods

Some more of the Refuge quests, done them now. Pity it isn't finished but it was still good. Probaby disable it now though, as i didn't get any items from it really and it is causing a bit of instability

Pretty creepy location, an abandoned military train it sends you to check out. Have to go through radiation to get to it. Used up most of my Rad-X and Radaway

Good Quest!

Really enjoying it at the moment. Gonna start Point Lookout now i think

Come on guys! Get some screenshots up;)

^ Shouldn't make much difference tbh, it will just replace a texture, so the worst case scenario is that one of NMC's High Res textures is replaced by a different one. You could always reinstall NMC's afterwards if you wanted to to make sure the high res texture is still the one being used.

BTW, i was wrong to blame The Refuge for some of the instability i encountered. It is unstable, but the specific problem that i was having was due to DC Interiors bizzarely being moved in my load order.

So I fired it up tonight after a long break and it C2Ds on loading the save. I think I mean it literally for the last time now: **** this game.

EDIT: so figured out my last two CASM autosaves are corrupt. It's great that it saves every 3 minutes for me, but what f*ing use is it if those saves are randomly corrupt?!!

Thanks Pighardia and everyone else for getting my interest in modding fallout 3 ;). The mods have made a big difference to my game, looks much better, got the robots and factions reskinned and with MNCs Performance texture pack with Max Bump maps its looking great

Only real problem seems to be with DC interiors combo edition, not sure if its conflicting with something or i am unlucky and getting crashing on zoning :(. Gonna try DC again later as i am letting the Area reset

Nice one. I am having problems with DC Interiors atm. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, so hopefully that will improve things.

Looks like you've got the Dynamic weather working fine;) Personally, i'm on the fence about it.

BTW, what are you using to change the Power Armour?

Most of the armour and faction clothing has been changed by **** in my game, so i'm not using any others.

I have a mod which changes the Regulators though and they look much better now and appear more often.

In the screenshot i am wearing the T51 Power Armour i picked up off a outcast ;)

Cannot wait to get some enclave armour, it glows (i hope if i installed it right) like some of the EVE weapons :D

Holy ****! This thread is still alive :D

I haven't had time to do any Fallout 3 playing lately, way too busy for that kind of stuff. I think I remember just getting past Galaxy News Radio :(

Right, thats it. I'm turning Dynamic weather back on. It looks great.

My favourite armours are the Lyon's Pride Power Armour that you get from finishing the main quest, the one you get for mOperation Anchorage and Reilly's Rangers(retextured by ****).

I also like the Hardened Regulator Duster

I added this yesterday - KDS Recovering Wasteland. I am finding it very good so far. It's just textures really so no conflicts.

Recovering Wasteland Reborn is my attempt at showing the wasteland is recovering after 200 years since the great war. The land is green once again, grass is full of life and nature is slowly taking back the wasteland and it's cities bit by bit.

Included in this are textures and detailed normal maps for the landscape and grass. I have also provided a high resolution texture for Rocks with a detailed normal map too. Now everything looks gorgeous and natural.
The same author also does this, but i haven't tried it as it seems a bit too much for me- KDS Restoreout - Restoring The Wasteland

For those of you who want to play Fallout looking "kinda" like Pre-War era then THIS IS FOR YOU! This changes almost all of Fallout textures to look like a prewar world. This is great for those of you who love to play as a survivor of a virus that wiped out most of the world or by other means. There is literally a lot you can do to justify why the world looks like the way it does now.
This texture pack looks best with various other mods like; Recovering Wasteland and Enhanced Weather.

The Aim of this is to make the Capital Wasteland a much more pleasant place to live but still keeping that destroyed look. After 200 years and with water purification becoming more easier every year, life for people is hard but getting easier. This means they have had time to redecorate and start rebuilding the area. The most used places were first to start this new trend, now everyone has had a dabble at it. Timber has been scavanged from many of the areas tree's and bricks have been scavanged from the DC ruins to help rebuild the world. Paint guns and various resources were used to help clean and paint.

This will be a VERY big mod as it will be replacing many of Fallout's original textures to give them a cleaner, refurbished look. Every day more and more areas get repaired.

Nice finds with those new wasteland mods Pighardia, i been trying out some more mods and havent broken the game yet ;)

New skins for the family, look more gothic/vampire like

Bring on the space marines

Dc should be a warzone now, Space Marines hate BoS and mutants, should be lots of fighting going on, they are hard as well, got my ass kicked 30 secs after screenshots :D. Only problem was the chain blade sound was looping until i zoned, not even a reload would get rid of it, maybe it was a once off

Yeah the recovering Wasteland mod is great, it is a while since the bombs dropped! it shouldn't look quite as bad as it does. Add Taking Out The Trash as well and it is just about the right level.

The Restoring wasteland is a bit too much for me, everything looks too new and shiny to me.

I played through The Pitt dlc yesterday, i'll post some screenies tomorrow

Downloaded FO3: GotY over the weekend after buying in the Quakecon pack. Played through the first 30mins or so and wasn't so bothered about modding it, however. After reading through this thread my curiosity got the better of me and so I downloaded;

FOMM
FO3edit
Archiveinvalidation Invalidated
DarnUI
Fellout

I haven't got around to getting any of the texture packs yet but I can't believe how much the few mods I got, have actually improve the game so much :D

All good. In terms of mods which do not change the base gameplay too much(if it's your first playthrough) i would also recommend the weather mods Enhanced Weather-Rain and Snow and Dynamic Weather. They don't conflict with anything either

Also i would recommend dowlnloading Streetlights, as Fellout makes the nights incredibly dark. You would probably be best to get a nightvision mod as well as there is no NV in FO3 vanilla.
The mod which adds Night vision to Power armour is great:)

Also you can get single mods which just add a pair of nightvision goggles or whatever.
