I don't go off on anyone and I certainly don't want anyone banned or have ever tried to get someone banned. You just seem to be a little pent up. Flopper is the same as Lamchop and I never pick Flopper up and take it as the same banter. I also don't go around calling people Moron's who don't conform to my way of thinking.
Fallout 4 has been eagerly awaited by so many people and hence why it was pre-ordered. If a game is coming that I want, I have no problem pre-ordering and will continue to do so. Those who feel we get shafted can stop pre-ordering... Happy days

For the people screaming about pre-orders, you need to first focus on the alpha investors. That trend is much worse than pre-ordering

Got the 10th of November off work too coincidentally so I'll be a happy moron all day.
Battlefield 5 on the other hand I won't be buying at least for 6 months if at all as I was extremely dissapointed with the £70 or however much I wasted on the premium version that was really not worth it to me.

If people really cared about the PC gaming industry like some claim to on here then you wouldn't preorder, should watch "Please Stop Pre-Ordering your games." on youtube.
If people want to pre-order then go ahead, your choice, your money and all that... but come the day where every game will have day 1 DLC for £15+, micro-transactions, buggy releases that takes 6+ months to fix or never get fixed.... just remember that the only ones to blame are the people who pre-order.

Might aswell add to that, that pre ordering gpu's is just as bad in your opinion
And anyone that pre orders cards only have themselves to blame when a card is released that has buggy drivers and does not do what it says it does with 1/2 the performance it should have

yes, by your logic, GPU pre-orders are driving GPU development
do you receive GPU add on for 50 quid couple of months after GPU release? when did any of new GPU have half their potential performance when released???Last I checked 4870 was faster than 3870, 5870 was double the performance of 4890, 6970 was faster than 5870, 7970 was much faster than 6970, 290x was waaay faster than 7970, etc. Same from nvidia. The only quirk you might get from brand new hardware is immature drivers, which are still stable enough to enjoy the cards and leading edge.
What do you get with pre ordering games? cat in the sack, since you have no way of knowing how the game turns out on release. And all of us know d**n well majority of games released in recent years are in really bad state. yet most of you so called gamers and so called gamer community are still ignorant enough and addicted to new games like druggies, go and pre order them. And then act hurt when someone actually speaks the truth about you guys who preorder and drive this cancer of the tactics from publishers.

This times a thousand, pre-orders are the reason why we generally get buggy **** releases like every ubisoft game, batman AK, battlefield 4 etc.
Either that or pay the extra and buy from steam, that way, if the game is ****, you can request a refund and the publisher/developer will lose money hence why batman was taken down from steam....
Things will never change though because far too many people still pre-order and buy day one DLC, seasons passes etc.

If games were sold on whether they are good or not and whether they work as described or not the whole industry would be a better place for us gamers.
STOP PREORDERING!

Come on, it's not like the first batch of pre-ordered Fury X cards had pump whine or anything. GPUs made later in the generation are in now way more refined than the very first cards. It's not like they release a card and then a bit later release a 1GHz model of the same card while phasing the old one out or introduce a version of the card with double the VRAM. There's no advantage to buying a GPU later than pre-ordering. It's not like the prices are higher on launch than they will be 12 or 18 months later.
