Fallout 4 to feature Nvidia Gameworks

I don't pre-order that often but I've been quite lucky with those I have, For example Mad Max and Alien Isolation were good on day one. Mind you I pre-ordered Arkham Knight which was so bad that it cancels out all the good ones on it's own.
Regarding Fallout 4 this is a quote from a member on a different forum I use:

"Leaker's have played 20-30 hours now, It doesn't seem to have any game breaking bugs reported/leaked so far. I did see some visual glitches and bad AI like Dogmeat failing to get on an elevator properly and falling."

The pre order police will be so dissapointed to hear that.

My reward? go and type in "Fallout 4 pip boy edition" on an auction site and you will see that they are selling for £400+

So are you going to sell it for £400 then?

If so then, yes great buy and £320+ is a great reward.....but if you are not going to get the £400+ for it then its not worth any more than you paid for it. Just saying!

Just because people are asking £400+ for something doesn't necessarily mean it's selling at £400+

The guy collects Fallout memorabilia, so leave it out with your judgemental ways please. I am quite jealous that I didn't order one, as I wouldn't mind some game bits for my shelves.

I'm gonna have to stop punching myself as to why I didnt order the pip-boy edition when it was available. Schoolboy error.

Ah, now that certainly answers a few questions.

And No I don't drink any coke.....Have you seen what it does to your bones and your insides. The Cola delivery drivers also use it to clean their lorry engines?

by somehow implying that because i bought a pre release game i am making the gaming industry worse lmao.

But by pre-ordering you are telling the Publisher/Dev team that you are willing to accept substandard software and giving them your seal of approval to keep on doing this.

Yes, I do believe that this IS making the gaming industry worse and it will keep going that way until people stop pre-ordering.

How am I being judgemental? I am merely giving my opinion that something isnt worth more than you paid for it unless you actually sell it for that price.

Whether it's for Fallout memorabilia or anything else it really doesn't matter. I collect stuff too, always have but I don't think that my Alien Head DVD box set I purchased for £99 is worth any more than that If I don't intend to sell it to someone for more than I bought it for.

In fact I curse the thing every time I see it's covered in dust.

I don't agree on pc titles at all, On consoles yeah It could be an issue I guess as most games are made primarily for consoles anyway. Fallout 4 is a different kettle of fish though.

Last game I pre ordered was bf4 premium, I Have not played crysis 3, farcry 4, or any batman games yet but fallout 4 can have my money as its already awesome and I have not even played it yet.

Another thing I would gladly admit to, I would pre order fallout 5 right now if I knew they were making it.

I had FO3 and loved it....as we all know it was buggy as hell at launch, but we persevered with it and the majority enjoyed it. But I, like so many others have been burned by too many poor quality titles that I have decided to stop pre-ordering. It has gotten to a state where you are counting non bugged launch titles on one hand....maybe just a few fingers, and I am sure that we can all agree that it has gotten worse in the last few years.

I know it will never happen, but what if every PC owner who intended to pre-order COD 27....just didnt do it.

That would send a very big message to the developers and publishers because they would have expected big pre-order numbers. I would love to be in the boardroom to see what was said.

I know that devs do work hard and I do not blame them for the majority of the issues. I blame the publishers because they are only interested in the bottom line and not how good the experience of a game is. The Devs have no option but to toe the publisher line because they could not possibly afford to produce a game on their own these days. It is very big bucks indeed.

I really couldn't care whether anyone pre-orders or not...I am only giving my opinion that this is leading to poorer games at launch because the public are letting it happen by continuing to pre-order. That's all.

First off you are judging what its worth is and then 'stating' that it is only worth this if he is going to sell it. By all means give an opinion but don't make your opinion fact. There are many collectors who would never part with certain items they have acquired and paid massively over the top but I guess in your book, they were wrong to do that.

The pip boy edition is silly to me and pretty pointless but then thinking about it, it would be nice to have some game memorabilia on my shelves in my gaming room, more for decoration than worth to me.

Just go easy on what people choose to do with their money and stop passing your opinion as fact all the time. You are not 12.

Errrrr......Well the difference to me is that 3-6 months after the launch I will be getting a more patched and more stable game for probably less money than the morons who pre-ordered it. DOH!!

I dont care what game it is or who has made it with this FX API or whatever......If everyone stops pre-ordering games then Devs may take some notice and get them pretty much stable to begin with.

All pre-orderers do by pre-ordering is signal to the developer/publisher that you are more than willing to bend over and take any old crap that they throw out on Launch day. Stop being mugs and use your buying power to make them give you a better quality product.

Otherwise this will just keep on happening and these forums will keep echoing your rants about **** quality games. This is the type of thing which we should all be united on regardless of which GFX Card vendor you prefer.

Look at all the hype around politics this year with ukip blah blah, When it came to the crunch the 'people' voted the cons back in.

Some people say one thing and stick to it and others say one thing and do the other, I want the game so I'm buying / pre ordering it.

I did not like ubisofts release of Farcry 4 so I did not buy it ( and still haven't ) Some others said the same and yet bought it anyway but I did not feel the need to rant on about it.

I bought colonial marines LOL, I played it for 2 hours with a friend and that's it, £30 down the drain but I won't ever buy a gearbox / sega game again.
