Fallout: New Vegas

I'm 30 hours into the game and still haven't managed to complete it LOL, and all I do is quests and more quests and then some more quests, they just keep coming :)

I don't get when someone complained here that the game was only 12 hours long and not good value.
 
bah ive only played like 16 hours and i think im loosing interest, or maybe because ive started too many games around the same time.
 
I'm playing only an hour or two a night atm, partly because of other time restraints, but so far I am enjoying it progressively more. What I do like about this and FO3 is the quirkyness and mixed bag of appeal it brings to the player.
 
Honestly, at the moment I much prefer Fallout 3, that said it took me a long time to get into Fallout 3 properly, I played through it and then came back months and months later and found it too be much better.

I'll tell you what got me through some tough times though - The alien blaster, my god that thing is magnificent and that was with really low energy weps.
 
Wish the speed of jogging which is all i can describe how you travel in this, was faster. As you know i just started and moving from a to b to c for the mission to get 2 things to make this medical powder from the lass at the pub was boring as hell cos of how slow i move.

Also a BIG meh to that you cant steal those bikes and use that for faster travel. I take it no vehicals you can use to be faster just like fo3? If so big shame that.

Hit ` and type setgs fmoverunmult 4.5

Can go for 5 as well, I use 4.5 because it seems the most natural speed, still faster than default though. You do have to do this every time you play though which is a bit annoying.
 
Thanks ive made a macro hopefully it works ok. Tho i duno cos seems if u set 360 pad to use ingame then mouse and keyboard functionality doesnt seem to work much. But ill give it ago. ;)

Btw their is one thing i would like to ask people about. STUFF! Ok now i like to steal a lot of stuff in these games and im just wondering what stuff is considered sellable as its just misc stuff because when i go through my inventory it all seems worth keeping and i dont like to have long lists of stuff there i just want guns a few outfits thats worth keeping around and ammo. Now the weapons and ammo are usually no brainers but the rest of the stuff i duno if i should keep or flog for caps. What do you guys do and what do u tend to sell off and keep.

you can go to 6 aswell ;) which feels almost quake fast

theres the good old "setcamerafov" command aswell default if 75 which is to console for my liking i prefer 93 on a 16:9 monitor
