Fallout: New Vegas

No, thankfully it is not GFWL. The achievements are on steam. I am glad developers are starting to shun GFWL, never liked it.

I have found an annoying bug with the game, when I go to sleep I keep hearing 'I got spurs that Jingle Jangle Jingle' any news on a fix for this?

Thought I'd try and use the patch that so many seem to have found useful but if anything it seems to have made things worse. Yes, the frame rate is a bit better but it runs very jerky and erratic, not smooth at all, which it was most of the time before I extracted the file.

Edit : It seems that when using the fix and turning AA off or x 2 (ideally completely off) it is fine. Then again it should be if not using AA. Though in fairness it is certainly smoother this way than in comparison to the same settings but without the fix, more consistent. Still a bit rough and stuttery outside for my liking with 2 x AA but I guess it's either that or go back to more unpredictable fluctuations in frame rate. It reads that I have an 8800GS video card on the desktop options page.

The .dll didn't improve performance for me as mine was fine anyway but it did get rid of an annoying issue: my mouse from Windows kept appearing in-game if I went towards the top of my screen, was very annoying. It kept letting my mouse go over to my external monitor and if I clicked there accidentally the game got minimized.

I think it was the .dll that did that at least as I didn't change anything else.

Well, solved my problems by creating a small partition and installing XP 32bit on there.

Runs like a dream now.

after blasting through on easy and rushing the main quest a bit ive started again on hard and with hardcore enabled, taking my time this time, did the first playthrough in about 16 hours, with most places explored but i guess there was more side quests to do.

Just started the game, and until I actually watched a youtube tutorial to the damn Caravan card game, I felt like smashing the damn thing...all good now tho. Did anyone else catch the Fallout 2 reference in Sloan (or whatever the deathclaw place is)? Gave me a right giggle :)

Got to the strip yesterday after following the main quest for a while. I've deviated off the track a couple of times but am now considering making a U-turn to do some exploring before I hit the casinos. Without telling me whats there, are there any areas of the desert I should head for?

theres a lot in the south where you might of thought you've seen everywhere thats hidden around, west in the mountains is a nice treat too :)

Any one else had this this?
When I modded the weathered 10mm pistol with the extended clip, the screen goes an odd colour and the gun disappers. Its prety much made it unusable, and you cannot take the mods off.
