From what I have seen the lore is pretty much spot on so at least from that perspective they have got it spot on!
I am tempted to watch but the wife is out of the country till Friday so will wait until then!

I would wait till all episodes are released the early reviews are based on the first two episodes. Might follow the Marvel tactic of the quality dropping off massively once people are committed.

when it comes to TV shows and a particular agenda, idealology, message etc but I didn't pick up any of that in the snippet I watched this morning. The first trailer seem to be winning at Woke bingo. The later teasers seemed to distance themselves from this. Does seem folk are now looking for the slightest hint of woke just as an excuse to hate something.

I think a lot of people mistake bad writing for wokeness, just because the protagonist isn’t a white straight dude.
I think that scene might be due to them not being an expert with the suit controls. However the suit props probably are cardboard!

Woke is a term applied to things people don't understand or agree with, or don't have the ability to adjust their perception towards. In the vast majority of cases, the thing they're upset about is so far removed from their every day existence it's in to "Old Man Yells at Cloud" territory.
I also think a lot of people just use the term in an escalatory sense either consciously or subconsciously as they know it'll inflame things.
Anyway, back on topic. Seriously excited to watch this, I hope they've stayed faithful to locations in the game as well as the history. Canada being annexed, Chinese listening posts etc.

I’ve never gotten much past the opening few hours in any of the games for some reason, so I’ll be coming at it blind story/character-wise.

I think I'm just fed up with absolutely everything major being female led. It would be nice to balance it out a bit with a few male leads. Seems like you have to look for AA TV for more male led TV like Reacher, The Night Agent etc
I watched a few eps and got so bored I started just skipping everything apart from the brotherhood of steal guy
The shows for younger generations who grew up on xbox, the show has gore but its not exactly realistic kinda comes across like a cartoon
take some key and peele skits into the fallout world, stitch them together and try to create a series, would be better than this...
I'm sure people will claim to enjoy it but to me its come across as generic as a modern AAAAA game
The major plotline seems to be based on a fetch quest for the first 5 eps.
suprised they aren't at tarren mill farming spider sacks or whatever
