Far Cry 4 due this November

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't almost all the issues people are having here because they're playing the pirated version without the proper day 1 patch?

They are playing the "Demo" Or using a VPN to make themselves appear in a diff timezone which will work today (17th) sometime.

If they were playing the proper version (even using VPN), it would be patched to 1.2 and not have the issues people are complaining about.

Not if the patch is not released, and that is same changeling I posted pages back.

Anyhow who cares (again) what or how peeps play it so long as they post within the rules here.

I don't care what people do, but complaining about broken game features when you are playing a version that isn't the same as the release version that everyone else will have is a bit rich.

That's like moaning that a beta version of a game has issues.

Why should that bother you if they post within the rules?

It doesn't bother me it just shows what people are like.

That said depends on the rules, openly talking about games they have pirated are within the rules? If so thats fair enough it's a mods choice and doesn't effect me slightly.

I just laugh when the same people then proceed to moan about a games company.

Of course though it's only being used as a demo and if it's good they will go out and buy it. Thieves always pay for the products after.

I tend to get a bit bored with these games. I think it is a hard sweet spot to find between free roaming and linear gameplay. I tend to go off on a tangent and completely get lost. It happened with Hard Boiled, it happened with FC2, it happened with Just Cause 2, it happened with Sleeping Dogs. It would have happened with FC3 if I had of played it for long enough.

It is strange, though, that for some reason in Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim I was fine. I am not sure what it is about the TES games, but I think it could be that there is always a core story line and it tends to be a little more defined/focused. I don't know why but the thought of FC4 just makes me feel 'meh'. Yet I am looking forward to GTA V.

Maybe I am just big freak :p

Does cdkeys.com need any extra verification steps? Or is it as straight forward as Kinguin. The limited edition is slightly cheaper but I dont want to have to take pics of ID, live chat. I dont mind the extra for a working key check.

If it's as good as FC3, I'd be happy enough. The console eyesores did ruin the view and things like highlighting enemies in red ruined the – usually lovely – visuals for me, it felt like there was a cheat enabled but overall it was a lot of fun and I loved exploring it.
