Far Cry 4 due this November

I think that is a bit harsh tbh. The game is very very good, with lots of attention to detail. These bugs are unfortunate and should not be there, but lets not go over the top.

It looks nice but planting tress is not difficult. :p

i'm only messing because i have been prone to make the same mistakes and am simply reassured that even pros can make the simplest mistakes.

Though if I remember correctly from Far cry 3, doesn't it optimize the game for your PC as you play it? For some reason thats what I recall when I got far cry 3, intially poor performance then gradually everything becoming a lot smoother/less stutter/frame rate issues.

I think your right, I recall FC3 getting smoother as time went by, I also have a dated system with GTX580 & playing at mostly High settings, it's running really well & I've not seen any bugs or graphical errors or anything that others point out as yet.
I just got the one handed grenade launcher & this together with dropping bait & grenades etc makes a lot of difference if your in a buzzer as you can practically take out a camp without even landing on the easier ones :p

When looking at trees, If I move to look it looks like they ghost/flicker slightly. Not sure if it's because of the slight tilt on my monitor (screw issue) or the colours/v sync etc.

or VPN Origin India. Thinking of trying that but I really need to get a new monitor before I buy any new games or it's back to migraine city for me.

Downloading this now. Fingers crossed this runs okay on a 4770k @ 4.2GHz and two OC'd 7950s. I remember Far Cry 3 didn't like crossfire.

You should be fine on a single 7950. Just select Ultra on all settings and use SSAO and SMAA. You will get a constant 60fps and sometimes dropping to early 50s. I think their optimization devs had 7950s in their rigs.:D

I'm playing this on max (except msaa 2x) and my fps hasn't dropped below 50, but the stuttering is pretty awful, I hope a future patch sorts it out.

1080p
4670k @ 4.4
16GB
290 crossfire (one disabled)

So FC4 suffers from stuttering issues, Watch Dogs definately did so Im guessing AC Unity does too.

Just what are Ubisoft doing...or not doing should I say?!?

Seemed smooth overall but stuttery at times. I'm assuming only one of the 7950s is being used? I don't have Crossfire forced for applications with no associated profile.

I dont think there is a profile yet. I only have one 7950 and have no stuttering issues at all. game is on a SSD. Not sure if that helps at all.

The game plays well and looks beautiful.

However, it is too similar too Far Cry 3, just re-skinned. Saying that Watchdogs and Assassins Creed are pretty much the same game set in a different time and location...

So is this really as bad as a lot of the comments are suggesting.

I like FC3 a lot, and although I don't have a great spec it ran fine at a quality I was happy with, so would I expect pretty much the same?
