I was a huge fan of Far Cry 3 and 4, completing both of them however I couldn't get in to Far Cry 5. I'm not sure if it's because I tried to play it co-op with a friend, with gaps in between when we played that made it difficult to become immersed. I'd like to try again before likely picking up 6 but is it worth it? Was 5 a step backwards for the franchise in you guys opinions?

Not for me. After being a bit bewildered for the first half hour, I soon got the hang of it and really enjoyed it. I liked the different companions you had. Then Far Cry New Dawn was even better.

The dream/hallucination sequences that kept interrupting the flow of the action were really annoying in 5.

Wouldn't say I'm excited for it but looks good enough for a play through. FC5 was okay just got burnout from playing it and never finished.

Completely agree, this is what put me off completing the game in the end. I kept being in the middle of doing something and the game would decide it's time to interrupt you for a story section you don't want to do.

Not played since FC2 - unleashed the inner pyrotechnic there - lol
