Far Cry is going Post Apocalyptic (Far Cry 6)

Is this Far Cry 6 or is it an extension to 5?
Out of 3, 4 5 and Primal, 5 was the worse one for me. Actually really liked Primal. Didn't even bother picking up the 5 DLC's (Mars, Vietnam). May give this a try however.

Quick half hour on this and it looks absolutely incredible, the vibrant colours really do the engine justice, going back to Metro and will complete that first me thinks.

Runs brilliant at 4k Ultra with HD textures.

If you didn't like 5 I doubt you'd like this.

Don't get the hate towards 5, it was a lot of fun to play, amazing in coop

Probably should have a configuration intro so people realise you can turn all the indicators off...etc

I'm quite enjoying it and it runs flawlessly all maxed out, slowly getting better weapons etc. got savaged by a huge Crocodile in a flooded silo complex, just rescued the dog who is now my buddy and traveling in a sidecar. Of course there are similarities with the last game but also a lot of completely different stuff so well worth £20

Easily worth £20. One of the most visually pleasing games I've played. Looking forward to getting more into it, and well done to Ubi for pricing it right

Im enjoying this but its far too 'green', id have preferred a more dark theme. Still, its the usual Far Cry gameplay so as I say I'm enjoying it.

Still the only far cry I have enjoyed is the first one.
Never finished that one or the second either but must go back and have another play through of 2 someday. Enjoyed 3, 4, Primal, a few of the DLC's such as Yeti something or other and Blood Dragon. Actually didn't enjoy BD as much as I thougth I would either. 4 and Primal stood out for me although 3 had a better story than 4 but I thought Primal was a good break away to something different.
Not quite sure why I didn't enjoy 5 as much as I hoped. Still good though. Might replay again at some point. I think I put it down for a while which didn't help - I find it's good to pick up a new game and focus on it through to completion which is something I didn't do with 5.

Farcry 4 was the best ever for me, the introduction of lifelike animals and being able to ride and attack with the Elephants is unsurpassed. I used to play non shooting parts of it with my young Grandson, goading a Rhino to chase us and us and running into the river, the Rhino used to run right up and snort at us but wouldn't step into the water, also the Rhino's attacking cars and upturning them was brilliant with perfect lifelike animations.
And then there were the Crocodiles, you could find about five of them under the Lilly pads along the river, we used to hover in the buzzer and throw meat down and watch what happened, we even saw an Elephant attacked by it's trunk and it pulled the Crock right out of the water and flung it back.

Well I hated 2, the spawning checkpoints were awful. Also tried the one with the towers you had to climb? Didn't like that either. Didn't bother with the latest one.

The story and forced abductions destroyed it.

Hated that in 2 as well - couple of bits where you had no say over the progression in an abduction context.

Two was so nearly an epic game that got ruined because it seems no one on the dev team actually went back and played the game as it got nearer to being finished. There is so much stuff in the second half that was under-utilised in the main story progression which would have really enhanced it story wise if they'd used it better - some great fragments of story elements that you probably only stumble on after replaying the game a few times and then wonder why they are stuck in places that most people will probably never even visit on the first place through almost like they were incomplete development prototypes they forgot to delete from the map.
