Point is he already had claimed those expenses. He was present in the building for every vote so he got his travel expenses for those days, it says so on the EU register. He just didnt vote!!!!!

And like all democracies you have to start somewhere. In the early days the Tories werent the leading party you know? Guess they shouldnt have bothered turning up to vote then,

Indeed. Lets hope not. The more interesting one is which MPs will abstain or give Nays on the A50 motion. Can hear the worms being pulled up now.

I always thought signing a petition submitted by a Brexiteer was somewhat self-defeating, tbf. Haven't they dismissed it on account of /4/chan spam already?

Googled this, I think you're right, holy cow this week just gets better and better..!!

This.

He spent 17 years arguing to get us to leave the EU, that's commitment, and he say's it as he see's it, there is no brown nose crap day in day out like we hear from every other politician, inc Tories, Labour, LD and the rest, and it sounds like a lot of certain voters on here fall for it all.

Not many politicians would spend 17 years fighting for one thing, probably not even 2 years.

Just look at all the utter BS since the result, every Labour and Tory politician is stabbing one and other in the back, starting from Cameron and his resignation to where we are now, but that's nothing new.

Fair play to him.

He lies and cheats like very other MP.

He's not the Messier he's a very naughty boy :D At least that's what he looked like in his speech to the EU. It was a shame as some of what he said made sense, i.e. it's done lets sit down in the coming months and agree on mutually beneficial trade talks. All he did was act like a spoilt child and make a bit of a *** of himself.

We not following a vote based on the fear of immigration that has potential for serious repercussions. With luck things will settle down and a more sensible group of people will discuss up coming trade deals. As I have said elsewhere I foresee a great many tears in the future trade deals when freedom of movement is pushed firmly on the table.

Nah he gave as good as the EU have given him over the years. They deserved it and his speech was one of the greatest in recent politics as far as I'm concerned.
Well said.

Rather he wanted to make the UK's vote more futile by rarely turning up and when he did turn up, he aimed to make the UK's vote seem futile, regardless of the topic or subject. Looks like he caught you pretty easily. :D

Rather than spouting what you think he did can you provide some sauce on him being futile regardless of topic or subject?

Dunno.
Does the name Skidder sound like someone who's ******** their pants to anyone else?

Every time i see the name skidder i keep singing "skidders got skidders in his underpants, they won't wash clean and they wont wash white" :)

Some may do, and i wouldn't call them wrong, but i wont say it myself ;)

Sabotaging ones country is a greater crime but sabotaging ones self is pettier.

I think Cameron done more sabotage than Farage ever did, way more.

They don't but applying a census evenly certainly helps.

Its a word that is gaining momentum. It fits how a certain group reacts when someone says something different based on their opinion. Its self evident.

Fair... Let them eat cake monsieur

Like Turkeys voting for Christmas.

The reality is and one that cannot be detracted from is that all of this animosity has arisen because the losing side of a certain referendum last week is throwing the baby out with the bathwater because they had and continue to have a tantrum.

At the end of the day its over... Move on. Its called democracy. Don't like it there is always the EU

Well put.

Isn't it strange that since the vote was announced a large portion of remain supporters on here and elsewhere have become experts in three subjects, all within a week.

1: The Economy
2: Finance\Markets
3: The Life and Times of Sir Nigel Farage

The thing is, Farage played a huge part in getting the UK out of the EU.

How can anyone deny that?

An MP who actually got the job done. Since when does that ever happen?

Still don't like toadboy, but I cannot dispute the end product.

Exactly.

People don't have to love the man or even like him to admit that he does what he shouts and has done for near on 20 years, as i stated in another post, can the haters of Farage show me another politician that has stuck to one thing for so long, he's fought for something he believed.

And won.

People are critical of the recent political changes which have the potential to have a massive impact on their lives, and are choosing to research and debate the matter. Why is that so bad?

You are missing the point. In the coming years we will need to negotiate with the EU parliament to secure the best deal we can. Walking in and acting like a smug, petulant child while throwing insults at the very people we may need to appease is hardly diplomatic, is it?

Yes but my opinion is based on there won't be an EU, not in it's current form.

Arazi, mate, I can understand you may be Farage's fan, but aren't you just talking to yourself now? :D

No super fan :) I just think he has more balls than the rest. Never voted UKIP either.

I thought the leave campaign didn't like experts and discredited what they had to say anyway?

Now it is the common man telling leave they were stupid, and they still don't like it. Can't win :p
