local police station to me is the main gloucestershire one, couple of months back they had a subaru transporter outside unloading a few impreza's, seen a couple of evo's in police colours, but by far the most popular at the moment seems to be e class diesels :eek:
 
I know that the Yorkshire traffic lot use Scoobys to patrol the A65, they have a very nice grey one, with little blue lights behind the grille.
They also had an unmarked Honda CBR1100X and Kawasaki ZX12R.

I know around here for patrolling the motorway etc the police have Volvo S60 T6's (The big estate ones) and E55 AMG Estates.

Although watching some of the channels on sky about plice chases it seems a lot of the forces seem to use standard impreza's (the ones with around 225bhp). They also had Audi A3's :confused: (seems a little odd choice)

For offroading I am thinking Bowler Wildcat! :)
 
when i was in rome and florence i found that a lot of the italian police actually use fiat puntos :p i guess theyre good for the small, narrow street but when they open up into the more modern roads i dont think they stand much of a chance in keeping up with the more powerful cars :D

the fiat panda 4x4 used to be really popular with several european police forces as it was so nippy and good off road, but yer, i'm assumeing they didn't use them as persuit cars very often

Theres an unmarked galliant vr4 around Bracknell they seem to use for persuits which i would imagine would be pretty good as its so subtle :)

Doesn't look like a proper livery. Those Evos on page 1 aren't proper cars either by the looks of it.

A lot of forces will have cars loaned to them for PR exercises.
