How about this Ford RS200 that was used by essex constabulary, should be quite formidable both on and off road.

The Police down here use Comodors and Falcons mainly(V6s and V8s). The 4wds they use are landcruses i think.
Some places and Sydney and Perth use scoobs aswell.
The bikes they use are BMWs of some sort
