Fastest speed

145mph on the long straight at Silverstone before having to break for the corner. That's as fast as I ever drove it. It did 162mph on GPS is the hands of it's new owner.

maxed out in a seat arosa 1.0 driving, 110 on the clock, it was downhill and the wind must have been behind, they're booked at under a ton

passenger - 140mph, BMW m3 Evo

Are you really not jealous? If so where did the comment about 'new money' come from? How can you even justify that comment.

I imagine it was alluding to the fact that there seem to be more 'new money' people that are continually banging on about their (or that of their parents) wealth and success in an apparent bid for validation than those that have grown up with it.

While I don't share your father's taste in cars, I have to admire the work that goes into making a success of yourself. I just hope that if I achieve a similar level of success, that if it can affect the lives of my children for the better, that it dosen't come at the expense of them forgetting their roots and they don't appear to be looking down at others, while also teaching them the values of humility and class.

FWIW, while I didn't agree with Flibster-gate, I've always thought of Persil as being a top bloke, and that any doubts about Flibster's experiences were founded from a dislike of (possibly) being lied to as in many other cases that OcUK has seen, rather than jealousy.

OT: 119mph (GPS) as a driver. Not sure about as a passenger.

GTIR - 140 (misses driving with white knuckles a plenty :D )

Impreza - 140

That'll do me. Not bothered about top end just how fast it gets there ;)

100 and something in a Ferrari 360 Modena at Silverstone yesterday... :D

was too busy trying to drive to look at how fast it was, but I looked down at the rev counter/speedo just before dropping it into 5th (funky flappy paddles like Micheal Schoomcher) and it was at 135 and still going

And damn it sounded nice :D

Rider: Indicated 140, but was still going but ran out of room :p (SV650)

Passenger: indicated 150mph (Hayabusa) also ran out of room
