Fastest you've been on a public road.

Very, very stupid and, if caught, I'd still be inside.

You'd be inside for "riding shotgun"

Unless your meaning of "riding shotgun" is different to mine, how would you be inside

Maybe his delivery wasn't just computer parts? ;)

Whilst not technically illegal, the delivery was of items which have quite an extreme social stigma attached to them.

My 'job' at the time involved screening clients and, more importantly, suppliers.

90 indicated (so more like 20 mph) nissan micra.

doesn't have the "umph" to go faster.

off the public road, 130 in a mondeo, but that doesnt count :(

Back in the sixties when I were a nipper.

On the A2 i think in a modified Ford Mustang imported by Ford, for whom our neigbour worked and, had managed to borrow it for the weekend.

He took my dad and I out for a run in it at somewhere between 140 and 160 mph.

125 indicated in my first 214 (snigger)

135 indicated in my mates' 420 Turbo being chased by a madman in a BMW (who tried the door handles at some traffic lights  )

140mph racing a Celica in an MR2 on a dual carrigeway.

Who cares if the cop see's it, i was lying to look cool, honest! Be honest we have all done excessive speeds.

Me driving - indicated 105. Really a max of 98mph though, given thats as fast as the car will actually go, short of dropping it out the back of a C-130.

And yes, doing that speed in a Seicento is stupid :o , and boy does it feel it...steering is insanely light and you have to hold on pretty tight when theres a gust of wind. On the A41 as well, not a motorway.... I wouldn't do that again let me tell you.

My dad driving - indicated 130 on the M6 at 5 in the morning (in an Alfa 146Ti).
