Her - he was having a private conversation he was not saying it to her. She made an event out of it.
He handled it very well.
Pretty much this. A good summary.

Fatties gonna fat. /thread.
But this "it was a private conversation" stuff is nonsense.
If he'd been having a verbal conversation on his phone, saying much the same stuff, would that be on her for listening?
Or would we say that he was being rather indiscreet and rude?
Look, I've no issue with the guy getting ****** off at being lumbered with having to share space on a plane with a severely overweight person: it is seriously annoying.

People should be weighed with there cases, why should anyone get charged for an extra 1kg luggage when a fat person doesn't for being tens of kg heavier. Nothing worse than being sat next to them when they overflow out of the seat.
I wouldn't say anything as I wouldn't have been rude enough to be watching what somebody is typing on their phone in the first place.I'm amazed so many people are so happy to defend people chatting **** inches from their faces, it's private? Would none of you really take any offence if it was about you or your nose or whatever. Just smile. I guess it's very British to say nothing, remain very stoic but be fuming on the inside. I see that now I'm removed from it.
Then on the flip side spew some pretty vile stuff about some random fat women that I didn't even care existed.
Stick to one side, you can't be all passive aggressive online but timid to real people. Well I guess you can....![]()
