Favourite Jailbroken Applications

No, you got to press sync in iTunes for the sync to take place so you got to be near a PC. The iPad doesn't need to be connected via USB. That is all.
Utterly pointless.

My iPad bees plugged in pretty much all the time when I'm not using it so don't see the point.
 
Oh well that is really pointless =s...

BUT i could be downstairs and sync something slower most likely then i could if i walked upstairs and plugged it in!!
 
has anyone got signal from cydia yet
signal the app i mean made by the dev team?
everytime i try i get forbidden message
 
Quick two noobie questions, I am hoping someone can help me with.

I am running 4.0, Jailbroken by jailbreakme.

I have saved my SHSH via TinyUmbrella,(states in Cydia that the SHSH are saved from 4.0 and 4.0.1)
Can I still upgrade to 4.0.1? and will the Jailbreak stay be in place?

Secondly,

Even though my iPhone is Jailbroken can I still backup the contents via Itunes?


I tried searching for these answers in Google, but couldn't find what I was looking for.
 
TetherMe is a good app and only cost $1.99 (£1.20), it enables the Tether option in the Network setting and lets you tether via Bluetooth or USB.

If you saved your SHSH when you were on 4.0 then you can upgrade to 4.0.1 and downgrade back to 4.0 without problems. If you upgrade to 4.01 then you would need to jailbreak again.

and yes you can still backup the contents on Itunes.
 
I can see why people are restoring, I updated mine 4.0 and jailbroke and its been a very bad experience, prob might go back to 3.1.3 and jailbreak as I was so much happier with everything.
 
is there a free version of infinifolder?

**** it. i just bought it. Is there any way to put a folder in a foldeR?

Anyone elses cydia not working? Mine just comes up with a load of errors and nothing is showing under sources/packages etc etc, can't search for anything.

(on iPad)

Was a ninja edit ;) Thanks anyway... rather annoying. Hope it suddenly comes back too life

EDIT: Just looked now and after a few errors everything is there :)
 
What can it download then :S?

EDIT: Went onto a certain site where i know you can download a video and wow.. pretty wicked! Though wasn't quite sure where to save it. Tried MiTube, i'll see where it goes. That failed. I just clicked downloads and thats now in media/downloads... well i have no clue how to get there without using a PC lol... Need it to go to 'videos'

Thats why you need iFile because it lets you browse to any file/folder on the iPad ;)
Its even got a sidebar built in for the common folders such as downloads, photos, videos, music aswell as bookmarks to save you time.

I just create folders in "root" such as Videos, Music, Downloads, YourTube Downloads etc so its there easily organised.
I also hide my pr0n there :) aswell as other stuff.

Just one of the functions of iFile is being a nice OS browser on the iPad.

If you want the download to go to a specific folder then use "Save to" option when the download link appears in Safari.

Well i tried the save to mxtube etc but it didn't work lol. I went on iphone explorer and hopefuly it deleted them. Ok ill go hunt for idisk :) you might be receiving an email.. im sure you can guess why haha. done ;p
