While im in cydia going to install that update which also is in the new iOS updates. (PDF patch)

Well so far this is useless lol.

I saved a photo from facebook too a folder i made up. It saved as photo.php and it won't open when i try and load it in image view and when i click it, it just comes up with t ext so. I tried to save a .flv video and well that doesn't load either =/

Seems like there could be some useful things in this source: http://apt.p2pworlds.co.uk

Got attachmentsaver from the source above. :)

I save photos all the time and it saves them as jpegs from websites/emails.

iFile cant play flv media - I don't think any document/media reader on ipad does without it being converted first.

Been using attachmentsaver for emails for ages.....

My iPad is finally getting to a stage where i may use it a lot more!
Dont think i'll need iOS4.0!

Mm, reinstalled it and got google images for example to save as jpegs. Though fb pics save as php so. Though tbh, can't see myself using the device anymore because off it. Maybe if I think of some use for it.
 
In Facebook, couldn't you just hold on an image in safari, like press on it and it should give you the option to save it as jpeg in your photos

I had one from MU, might work for other sites like that. I tried it also with a .avi file but that didn't work so, thought it might because off the app which lets you sync avi files. Also another site i can't list. Not sure really though where else would work, to get the full potential of the app.

a lot of people presume its called a 4G but its just called a Iphone 4.

anyways.. I have not slow downs and the battery life is not effected. Also I use Background Remover via SBsettings which closes all Apps running in the background.

Ah sorry bad habit.....


Hmmm may restore and see how it goes, I take it upgrading to the latest iPhone software version would take the jb back to standard handset versoion .i.e. not jb

any upgrade would lose your JB. the latest version is 4.0.2 which is not jailbroken so only upgrade to to 4.0.1 unless you saved your SHSH on 4.0 or 4.01 so you can downgrade if need be.

Do you mean the "Processes" button within SBSettings to switch off background/multi tasking apps or am I missing some sort of add-on for it?.
 
I have to say I'm still trying to get the hang off backgrounder, it's like some of my enabled apps close when I'm in other apps :s
