Favourite Jailbroken Applications

Now iOS supports background wallpapers I'd love a simple way to replace icons without having Winterboard running (or copying over into individual app folders each time).

BigBoss said this is a bug in Activator, the banner should only show when you go into Activator settings. I'd imagine this will be fixed fairly swiftly. (Activator is the app that launches things when you do stuff, like swipe the status bar for SBSettings).

Yep, it's a nice app. Does exactly what it says it will, if you have a lot of apps though in a folder and want to move them about on the phone then it's a bit of a faff (no idea what happens if you try doing it in iTunes) but is manageable. Have fed back to the dev that the ability to set it to auto-sort (e.g. alphabetically) would be nice.

I was initially excited but there is just a lot of crap on there. I can see why apple don't allow this kind of thing because ever since i've jailbroken my phone finding the right app's getting information whether it's iphone 4 compatible etc etc sorting out theme trying to find things for retina display rather than pixelly is just a pain. I think i'll use the jailbreak minimally for certain features I do like (but are naughty and can see why Apple can't do it for there responsibility to the networks) like 3Gunrestrictor etc etc.

Does Infinifolders work in the same way as folders on iOS4 works?

Edit - meh, just works for iOS4 to expand the amount you can have in each folder :/

So it Categories/CategoriesSB the only option for iPad users?

Mobile Substrate update fixes Skype issues, though it may have created another.

People not liking/seeing the point of jaiobreaking - that's obviously fine. The whole thing certainly isn't for everyone, and skews to the more geeky who want more control over the phone.

As I say, it's not for everyone.

I couldn't even find it. I found a iBlueNova and i put it on my ipod touch and turned on my bluetooth, opened the app and then enabled it, which disabled my bluetooth. was buggy etc.

I put it on my iPad which obviously isn't iOS4 and it pretty much did same thing.. um

Going to do the same few of the only apps I want I have to pay for and the only other reason I'd benefit is from the custom SMS noises. Not worth a void warranty really

It's easily 'un-voided' if required by doing the same restore you're going to do now, should you need to.

I've even had jailbroken phones swapped out without even restoring when o completely forgot! That was hair-raising stuff :)
