Ok, was only asking :)
I'd have the right hump if I gave someone my phone and they started going through my stuff lol. I don't really give my phone to anyone any way.

It's not as responsive as the Appstore, nope. That said, it's not anywhere near as laggy when typing compared to how Cydia was on my old 2G. :cool:
 
Just wanted to ask a quick question.

I see all these videos on youtube about jailbreak apps to let you tether your phone.
Why is that? I mean the option is there in settings anyway to let you do it :confused:

Thats because I think official tethering is via BT but if you tether with say an app like MyWi. It lets you set-up your iPhone as a hot spot which you can connect to with another of devices much like a wireless router.
 
Umm lol the app which was on the AppStore for a couple of days mitube or something seems better quality then yourtube (atleast on my iPad) though it's not as convenient
 
found it in cydia but really don't like how it works on the ipad so am open to other suggestions.

Yer its rather annoying, setting it is annoying compared to apples way in iOS4, then got to click home to go back to main page. I haven't come across anything else though and prefer having that instead of 8 pages of apps so

Users on O2 contracts can't use tethering without buying a bolt on, even though they're already paying for metered data. With MyWi, I could hypothetically tether my iPhone, circumventing the additional O2 charges.
 
I C O N O C L A S M - its the business. How can one live with 20 apps on a screen and all that space when 36 is just perfect and 6x6 rotates with icons in correct places
 
Decided to return to old school and put my iphone 4 back to its orin state, main reason is most apps i have downloaded and installed either didnt work with os4 or would crash my phone, so going to leave it 1 or 2 months untill the ppl that make the apps can update them to run on ihone 4 properly.

yeah same here, jailbroke for 5mins and realised its not woth it till cydia is sorted for IP4
it does everything i need it to do at the time being anyway
 
Strange, I haven't had any hassle with apps on my iP4 as yet, not a bit. Everything I've downloaded and installed whether they be games or applications and whether they be from Cydia, Rock or the Appstore - has worked perfectly without a glitch.

I'll be sticking with the JB for now I reckon.
