US: Fear the Walking Dead

Patrick the asian man that came back home had me screaming at the Screen. I know it is his wife Susan but she was clearly "messed" up. Typical cliche trying ti hug her as well!!

My prediction

I think the poor woman with the hurt foot is next. If she dies with complications she could cause some problems to the espanic daughter or father

I know they said this series is completely seperate to the main TWD but I personally got a long shot hunch this could be a clever way to tell a back story to a major character further down the line ;)

Why is the son not showered and wearing some of his own clean clothes? WHY?

Lol was thinking the same thing. He likes the old chap clothes he stole from the hospital.

Thought the latest episode was interesting. Instead of the walkers the humans was the latest threat. Maybe it will show some insight of what the military had to go through.

So who thinks they're executing people up in the house on the hill?

Think was almost certainly the case. You saw the flashes co-incide with gunfire sounds in the window. I was asking a obvious question at the start why not let the military know about the flashes and in a way they answered it in the end.

So thinking the military are enforcing their law and detaining people who

a) are troublemakers or not obeying their commands.

b) that know too much about the plague or what they (the military) are doing?

c) that are "hurt" or potentially could become "sick" for further examination or expermentation or execution. This answers my other question of why not seek medical attention from miltary for the lady with the hurt foot. The Doctor told the husband what he wanted to hear and when it came to it. He was restrained from following.
Sound more and more like this is heading towards

the CDC backstory from TWD in season 1.
======================

Easily the best episode so far and not a zombie in sight. :)

totally agree it was one of the better ones. It was very intresting and the tension defintely ramping up. Anyone think that Madison was bright enough to at least plug that hole she created on the perimeter?

========================

But we've seen next to no zombies for a few days. How can minimal amounts over run the army?

I think that is the point. It a "false" sense of security where the "sickness" is only one aspect to the dangers out there. The latest threat is from humanity and the lengths people will go to enforce their letter of the law as society and civility breaks down.

Only character that's interesting is Mexican barber, but he's gone to the 'so called' hospital with his wife so we won't be seeing him again...

I must have missed it? I thought he was restrained when they came to take his wife? Did he get to go too, I thought the Doc was just saying what he wanted to hear?

I knew I recognised the hot Daughter from somewhere.

snip

i did put in a subtle "commander" reference earlier ;) but no one noticed :(

...maybe the show is trying to give us a sense of paranoia that the Army is bad.

Knowing that the show needs to add drama... I am guessing that the Army went in and executed everything for ease.

yeah that exactly what the shows doing. Making you double guess and make assumptions which will then misdirect. You dont know really know the specifics so it could be anything from killing walkers or a survivors originally signalling for help which then turned.

One thing i was hoping for more is how the sickness spread throughout the city. Perhaps the show could show more the scale of people in LA rather than just talk about how only people in the safe zones were safe and everyone else was dead. It is one of the biggest city on the planet with something like 4 million people in city and 10+ million in the nearby region. Who knows maybe they are saving that for the finale. Cant wait :D

When I first heard that guys voice I thought it was Morgan Freeman haha. This weeks episode was the best so far, was really thrilling. Can't wait for next week.

yeah. The voice reminded of Morgan or the old spice man from the advert lol :D

The Arena is going to be a big part in the finale i reckon. The question is what will the Dad do to the doors? He will go mental when he finds his wife. What will happen to the survivors exactly when operation cobolt commences.

Another big question is where did they take Doug ? Is he dead or experimented on?

Cant Wait :D

Thoroughly enjoyed the finale. It answered a few questions.

Here a few thoughts

Unfortunately not THE question hopefully they will expand towards it in season two. Hoping more on the origin of the infection.

Characters
Travis = Started Rick initiation program.

Daniel = Badass Carol.

Strand = the Shane eqivilant

Good finale.
I wonder if (hector?) feels guilty about killing a whole base of people to save his already dead wife :p

Hector = Daniel. Was thinking the same thing but i personally dont think he cares. He was so casual. "you might want to save those bullets" lol.
The Super herd was incredible. You wanted masses and there they were.!!

One slight thing was the soldiers just spraying and hardly any of the walkers dropped at the fence.

travis got a whole lot more interesting real quick :D

Rick initiating program. it was well done learning consequences to your inactions in this "crazy world" as Stand put it.

The walkers toppling the guard tower didn't seem plausible. I can't work out how they would manage to do that.

Was it not because It was not a proper guard tower. It was one those mobile lifts that they use to get upon high, similarly to the ones the telephone and electrical company uses to get on the masts and lights.

I was thinking they are done for if they dont get down because a few rocks and that thing will collapse?

10 minutes into the first episode and I'm annoyed already. Oh yes, go into an abandoned church, see lots of blood everywhere, and do absolutely nothing about it apart from tell his wife who equally wants nothing to do with it. Who are these people? Pretty sure I'd have the police there straight away, same with anyone... :confused:

This is just going to annoy me the same as The Walking Dead, isn't it? :p A show full of brain dead morons - and I'm not talking about the zombies.

LoL your in for a rough one dude :D but totally agree it can be silly at times but it does the trick and keeps you glued.

Even though Liza was only in it for a short time that scene at the end was far more powerful than a lot of the characters dying in the normal walking dead that have been in it for a while IMO. I know there is a lot wrong with the show, but I think it has a lot of potential.

Also the scene where the other nurse had killed all the patients then was sitting on the bed getting ready to kill herself was really eerie.

The new guy and the son are interesting characters. The mum and daughter dont do all that much yet, but they are both nice to look at. The daughter will probably be a lot more involved in season 2 as the herd is thinned. Travis was a really boring character until the finale.

Bring on season 2!

+1 Well said mate :D
