Female summer dress

Very true, and well worded. I do think girls should ask advice when trying clothes on though, and not from friends who also don't know what they're talking about :p There's plenty of places to go where you can ask questions and get honest answers about clothes. Unfortunately they're all rather expensive.

They are indeed and the problem is that if you want to be fashionable, which most women do want to be, then you are limited in what you can buy, just like us chubby chaps.

Womens fashion is designed around women who are very skinny (what designers like to design for and the media says is the proper shape for a woman). These clothes don't translate well into larger sizes and often don't suit the larger figure or are just not made in anything past a size 14 so the women who want to look fashionable have to squeeze in or loose out.

Although there are places women can go to buy larger sizes these often don't follow fashion closely which is a shame. It is however one better than what fat blokes get which is NO shops on the high street which cater for larger sizes, which is a nightmare believe me :(

I was a thin kid so I had my time wearing the fashion stuff but I know I would be hugely disapointed if I had been relegated to High and Mighty right from the start, would have been even worse if I had been a girl :(

I actually agree for the most part. I often see women when I am out that are a good few sizes above me and they are wearing clothes that I wouldn't wear (currently a size 12 :( and all boobs and arse at the moment unforunately - hoewever an imminent diet will hopefully get me back to a small 10). I mean, if I wouldn't wear them becuase I think they would be unflattering - what are they thinking. In saying that though it never 'bothers' me that they look like they do.

There seems to be a strange trend I have noticed (and then saw a report about it on tv), girls that are otherwise thin (sizes 8 & 10) but have a weird square looking body shape. No waist and a beer/pot belly. Apparently it's due to the laddish lifestyle, cut down on the beer girls! :p

That != :(!!!

Size 12 is not a big size! 10-12 is average size is it not? Don't know how tall you are but if you provide us with pics we can tell you if you're in proportion :p

Seriously though, being all boobs and ass isn't a bad thing!

I'm of the opinion that for their 18th birthday (16th?) all girls should be forced to go shopping with someone who knows what they're on about, and they can point out whats a disaster for them and whats not :p

A job for Otacon then ;)

size 12 - all boobs and ass :E

doesnt sound bad to me Muban :p

im quite tempted to do a 'Morba's summer thread of NO!!' this year, i have done it on other forums (tho they were a bit more lax than this place), people would post anon pics of people (no heads) wearing clothes or looking like you just want to shout 'OII YOU, NOOOOOO!!!' at. Women wearing clothes too small for them (regardless of the size) made up most of the pics (not in a good way mind)

See rubbish!
I think i'm ok at dressing myself, i wear things that fit and have a brutally honest little sister so she lets me know if i look a state.
