Just scored an 87th minute winner. I was Yeovil versus Chelsea and beat them 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on semi-pro. Not the worlds greatest achievment but im happy with that.
 
am finding it sooo hard to score goals, any tips,

i'm trying to shoot outside the box with space and am holding L2 while shooting,

is finesse worth doing?

any tips would be great!!
 
I wouldn't bother with finesse unless you are 1 on 1.
From 20 yards it's difficult to score unless you drive it in the bottom corner.

It's much easier to score from 45 yards or in 1 on ones. If you're struggling, try crossing or corners. It comes with practice.
 
Someone scored from the kick off today against me. He kicked off then hoofed it and my keeper stood still and it went it. He had tried it a few times already so he must know that it works sometimes. Possibly a bit of a bug.
 
I'd like to see some vids of these 45 yarders !?!?

As far as finesse shots go, they don't help you that much from 20-30 yards out, they do if you get a decent line and catch the keeper out of position... they're best for when your one and one.

All they do is ensure you side foot the shot and place it rather than belt it... you get greater timing and it's a lot easier to beat the opponents keeper with it when you're one on one.
 
Im really getting into the game now, although theres a definete different pace online and offline. Offline you can do all the tricks with ease, online its just a little harder. I did some brilliant skill to skin a guy with Ronaldhino by doing the heel flick over his head and ran on to cross it only to miss narrowly, it would have been the best goal ever :)

I love the tactical battles, i was playing a guy there, portugal vs scotland, i tried to hack ronaldo out of the game, which didnt really work as he scored first. I kept plugging away and got an equaliser only for him to score with 10 mins left. I grabbed the equaliser in the 90th minute and then beat him on penalties, he was raging at my hacking :)

And everyone 1 in 20-30 goes in?

Good effort though, fair play to you :)

Tried it last night with Freddy Adu (manager mode) for Swansea and almost hit the corner flag :cool:

Also where do you go to save the replays? I can't seem to find anything to press or do when in replay editor to save them :confused:
