Good goal too Andy. Shame about your lag though, I was going to ask you if it had solved its self because you seemed to do a bit of dribbling too. :)
 
Anybody going to be online today? I'm off down the bank to pay a few things, might pick up a couple of cheapo games for the 360 while I'm down there and then I'll be back and online later on, late afternoon/ evening ish. Didn't seem to be many people around yesterday evening. :(

What's the club name then? and does this mean you aren't in the OCUK club anymore? I think you can only be in 1 club at a time but I may be wrong. No more Soulja? :(

Just thought of a few things, you don't have to play 10 v 10 even when we have lots. We can always split into different rooms, and if your new club gets a few members you'll still have to play 10 v 10 anyway.

That's a tempting offer mate. But I'll have to stick with OCUK for now at least. Don't you go stealing my best players mind! :p

We'll have to have a match if you've got enough people on tonight. :)

And as for the question by Andy, I have an AOL 2MB ADSL connection, with a horrible old Netgear router plugged straight into the 360 with a cat cable. The connections are perfect, even with 10 vs 10. The only time I get a lot of lag is when we end up being matched up with Chinese gamers... Bleurgh.

Well I'll bring my 360 downstairs tonight maybe and try with a short cat5. I did do a wired connection before but the cable had to be 20mb to reach the room upstairs! Not so wise!

LOL! they do just about, I was going to switch to Sky but the Irish bloke on the phone was nice so I stayed with AOL. It's something silly like £3 a month.

But yeah, I don't have the best sync speed, and my router has been completely abused over the last 3 years since I've had it, but the connection in FIFA 90% of the time is fine for me. The only issues are when we're matched with those Chinese people. :)
 
The past 2 or 3 nights there has been hardly anybody on. Compare this with about 4 or 5 nights ago when we had so many we had to split into 3 rooms. Is everyone just busy? Or has the FIFA craze just started to wear off on the majority now?

Answers on a postcard please. :)
 
I will be on probably about half 9 - 10 ish. I'm seriously considering making a different team, one where people are consistently able to play, or maybe even joining Soulja's. :(

Yeah mate, we've sat in the lobby quite a bit lately just waiting around and it's been a complete waste of time. I'm gonna send Soulja a message on XBL and ask for an invite to his club. I won't be able to change the kits anymore but I'd rather have a game frequently and it's much better than just sitting around in a lobby in the hope that the regulars from a fortnight ago are actually going to show up.

I know people have lives and stuff to do besides game, but if you register your interest in something then you should stick to it. One or two games now and then isn't really asking much.
 
Right everybody, just to let you know I've decided to leave the OCUK club that I set up. There are a few people left with Manager rights so if you want to keep the club going then that's your decision, but you're more than welcome to do so. :)

I've joined Soulja's club because I think there's more of a chance to have nightly games, even though when everyone was turning up the OCUK club was a great laugh. I'd strongly encourage people like Mike, Bap, Hilly, and the other regulars like Lucifurr to join Soulja's club too because otherwise I'm gonna miss playing with you guys and hearing the banter. :(
