Hey mate I feel your pain, brought myself a legend team with two TOTY Cb's first time using them in div 4 and got relegated after losing 7 and winning 1, one of the wins I got turned into a loss from a DNF after the game had finished.
Might be worth checking what your controller is set too, in terms of assisted, manual and semi assisted, I had about 10 games the other night where my team refused to string a pass together, register a shot on target etc this was after I has won div 3 with 8 wins! Changed my settings and managed to pass again.
I have an avermedia and I may set it up tomorrow to record and show just how bad games are for me, I cant do a thing, i'm tackled on the ball every-time whilst the other person walks past 3-4 of my players, I have tried using the jockey where your player is supposed to mirror the other person and they out sprint me, I cant pass 10 yards yet I have my opponent sending a homing missile precision pass from his penalty box to his striker who is somehow then 1 on 1 with my GK, its driving me nuts. At one point tonight Kliuvert who's my striker was on the halfway line whilst I was level with the penalty box on the wing, and he is supposed to have a High attacking rate yet I watch the other team as his players bomb forward.
What are you both on? Platform wise.
Xbox one, my players could not make pass, penos given away even though my player was feet away from the 'scene'. Stupid shots from half way line that 50/50 went in, overpowered headers.
Then i was always getting DNF. Pretty much every time i played on the xbox.
Switched to the PS4 Fifa and haven't had any DNF's from their servers, players can now pass and get into the right positions. Everything just seems to be working properly.
I put it down to my internet and the xbox servers not liking each other.

Apart from the DDoS episode over Christmas, PSN and FIFA have been pretty stable for me this year. My anti Saudi filtering on the match up screen sometimes fails so I get laggy games as a result but other than that it's been good.

Doumbia is ridiculous isn't he? I use him in my 442 Serie A side and he's like... stupidly good. I almost got rid of that side due to the lack of a 4* skiller worthwhile but he saved the day.
Fifa and PSN have been terrible for me...

BT says there is no problem (which I can understand as my ping and dload speed is low)
EA says there is nothing wrong as many others its fine...

The only thing I can think of is see if someone else in the North East with a good fifa connection works fine with my console and plays good... any offers

I played you on 14 when I had a PS4 and I live in the north east with a good connection. You still had the same issue.
If you're outside your contract with BT then just try switching to another fibre provider, you'll probably save money doing so.

Move down south, that'll fix Fifa
Or move to the middle east then you can play all the Arabs lag free.

Out of curiosity what would being lag free against people from the north east do? Are you then supposed to only look for opponents from that region.
FYI ping doesn't vary much at all across the UK. You're talking maybe 5ms to a server in the south compared to someone who lives down there.
