Don't think I'm going to buy anything right now, prices have flown up today.

I was looking at 85 Blanc and 87 Crespo too and both have gone up in price by quite a lot (and are still rising).

He's a boss and runs my midfield playing RCM. The only issue I've had with him has been his stamina, so make sure you apply a fitness card every game if you do buy him. Cannot begin to imagine how the 90 plays.

Won my first draft and pulled bonnucci, not bad considering the token was from a free pack :)
Should have about 60k to play with. Urgently running two mediocre teams just to keep fitness up
 
If your happy to sit on some investments for a few weeks then pick up 84 Dante and Raffael. They are about 20k at the moment and almost certainly be needed for the prime Brazilians.

I've got a team I'm happy with at the moment so invested 500k. I'm sure that will make 50% profit.
 
I’m getting fed up with my team either controlling the match or for no reason getting destroyed 4-0/5-0 etc.

I think I have a W/D/L of around 28/4/26 for online :(
 
Started the day at 7-5 with 28 to play and currently 14-9 which is good by my own standards. KdB is lovely and Nainggolan's NIF at CAM is a machine.
 
2-0 up, and of course he gets one back in the 45th minute, so it's 2-1 at HT. He immediately equalises from kick-off and then goes on to get another 2 unanswered goals 'cuz my team has fallen apart. I score again, he scores again, I then reply with 3 in a row, and then he scores a late consolation goal. I won 6-7 in the end but that was easily the most AIDS filled game I've ever played.

Basically went like this:

Currently sat on 80,173 points in Squad Battles with one game to go for Elite 1. Only lost 5 games this week, 4 of those against teams rated less than 70, but I've been struggling to score consistently. Last team's only 83 rated so I fancied my chances until I saw the team and a completely bronze bench. I'm going to leave it as late as possible to see if I can get away with playing it on pro :D
 
How does squad battle work? I played it enough to get 12k points for gold 3, I know it's a dynamic leader board so doubt it'll stay there. But how does the rest work?

88 Rijkaard is a beautiful man. Easily my favourite defender. Super helpful having a CB that can play, too. Left-back Maldini was great at CB but got bullied far too often.

Interestingly I just sold my Maldini for the same reason, back to using good old Rio 88! Make sure you report back on Rijkaard

Does it not matter that some of the players have red chemistry??
 
Made it to 18 wins and couldn't be bothered trying for Gold 2; last 10 games were just constantly coming up against Martial/Mbappe/IF Alessandrini and a formation change.

Any advice on what I can do with this team to take it up a real notch? Whilst I had a load of fun with Nainggolan this weekend at CAM I feel like I'm wasting him for his defensive qualities, but I need to find a way of linking De Bruyne a bit better; ideally he'd be the CAM at the centre of it all. Open to a formation change and putting players in other positions (like Dybala at CAM), currently have 300k in the bank.

Bit of SBC luck this morning, did the untradable 81+ TOTW twice and got utter rubbish, pushed them into the tradable one and got SIF Icardi! I'll take that!
 
I got him from my SB rewards and thought I was going to make a wedge before looking at his price. First decent IF player I've packed and just about everyone in the wold has him now :(
 
Yeah, 70k isn't exactly woop woop! Got 70k for Verrati I packed, was surprised, I know he's 87 rated but really doesn't look great, got Kroos to sell, should be 55k or so for him, hoping for 150k for Boateng..
