FIFA 19

Anyone used Lewandoski this year? Never been a fan of him in previous Fifas but since I get on so well with Benzema this year, Lewy might be an upgrade.

I've had him for the last week or so, paired up with Werner (Sorry people who use high defensive lines) Lewa has a filthy shot and is nice and strong. Still surprising me from some of the shots he puts in, cannot recommend him enough for what, like 80k? mine was.

Santi Mina and the **** Italian CB in my picks :p Had the option of Trent but i have Juanfran SBC at RB so i'd never use him. Plus I'm a United fan, and .....Liverpool :( :(
 
Lewandowski’s finishing is awesome, he can just be difficult to use depending on play style, if you do well with Benzema you should be good.

I’m tempted to try and squeeze UCL Jonas back into my team up top, clinical with both feet. Only found icons to have better finishing than him.
 
I'm not sure about Lewandwski, before the latest patch I'd have said he was a good shout as stronger players seem to be the meta, however I think we're trending back towards agile players after the latest patch so I'm not sure how he'll perform, although he is undoubtedly an upgrade on Benzema.
 
I've a UCL 3 player pack waiting for me in an hour. Have a good feeling about Icon set 4 tonight for no particular reason :D

I hope so, i'm down to 4k coins now because I've blown them all on Thiago's, Otamendi's and UCL Casillas/Felipe's :p

Happy with my teams at the moment; Timo Werner is bloody brilliant, I absolutely love the guy. He's just scored 4 in my last match and is good for at least a goal a game.

Going to start trying to save up for a top-draw player when TOTY comes out. That could be a (midfield) icon or maybe a Messi. That said, I wonder how much a 1IF/2IF Timo Werner is :p

I'm not in Weekend league this time around; home and busy so wouldn't be able to get the games in. Next weekend I will be though :) Since the patch I think I've drawn 1...maybe? Won the rest (only 5/6 matches) but maybe this patch suits me as i always use manual defending anyway.

Last thing, from today onwards i'm going to start saving packs for TOTY. I'm sure i'll get no one of any interest but hey, in it to win it as they say.
 
My attack is pretty strong so I'm currently poised to buy two central mids for my 4-2-3-1. Thinking 87 Makelele (a bigger Kante) and then one of 88 Seedorf or 89 Socrates. The former has better defending but Socrates is meant to be really dangerous and has size to his advantage which will help when defending. Makelele will always stay back and cover, I have used him for a bit and he was very solid.

The Icon prices are creeping up and I held off selling IF Hazard, but his price is creeping down. Hope it goes up a bit.

Lewandowski is my best striker so far (not tried post patch), my kinda striker I only sold as he's hard to hybrid in for me. I'm currently using kane and Lewandowski is much better.
I'll probs try benzema ucl live card as he maybe better..
I went for packs in rival's and got naff all

Makelele is crap as well plays as an extra center back. May as well player 5 at the back instead.
 
Packed IF Sterling from the mega pack from the win 15 matches weekly objective :D shame he’s untradeable

Puts me in a funny position though as I was going to do the Pedro November challenge as I have all 14 players but not sure what to do now; would leave me with three good prem RW’s
 
I tell you what Lukaku is so hit and miss at times, literally. I can consistently bang them in the top corner from outside the box, but at times I'll have a finesse in the perfect position, perfect for a left footer and he'll put it wide. I've not checked what his composure is, that's all i can think it is. It can't be me as I have no issues with any of my other strikers
