FIFA 19

Do some cards get used for coin transfers? Vrsaljko for example, looooaaaads of cards with BIN prices at 25,000 to 30,000 but a few with starting prices over 200,000 with active bids up to and a couple even over 250,000.

Surely this is people transferring coins between accounts or something?

Can someone explain FUT to me? Are all games online? Do points earn you coin to buy players?

No there are single player squad battles as well as online. There are also squad building challenges, single player leagues, single player cup style things, all sorts. You earn coins for games and you also earn ranks which give you bonus packs of players/consumables. You can quite easily play without buying fifa points.

My team so far.
Finding shooting easier with the better players, might be getting better myself though.
Scored some absolute worldie chips trying to do low driven shots!

Edit: Not spent a penny yet. (And won't, for the third year straight!)

If you get the hang of timed finesse shots it gets a bit silly, Fred has been banging them in for me and his shooting stats are turd.

Can't wait to have to deal with ST Neymar as his TOTW is going to be in the CAM position.

So after breaking and buying on release date I’ve spent just over 24 hours gameplay with this and have to say I’ve become disappointed to that point that I’m going to off load and go back to 18. It’s really nothing different from 18, a few good features but nothing to warrant a £50 price tag, I could get my same Fifa fix from 18. Seems a lot of people feel the same after having the game for a few days now.

Isn't it virtually the same every year?
We pay for active online gameplay, latest players/stats and for me, I love playing around in the transfer market, which dies towards the end of each Fifa.
It's almost like a yearly subscription!

The gameplay feels a good bit different to 18 for me, yes you can tell it's just the same engine being messed around with but pace, dribbling and shooting is noticeably different.

I have moaned about Fifa before, but not any more. The gameplay has been tweaked excellently imo and it’s a lot more fun to play.

I also don’t think the moaners get the amount of work that goes into the game as a whole, not just the gameplay. Motion capture, graphics updates, stats collating, affiliation work with big leagues and competitions, promotion, online FUT maintenance. Probably thousands of other factors I’ve missed as well.

I really don’t think it’s too much to ask us to pay £40-50 for an updated game once a year.

I never seem to come across 'normal' teams online anymore. I think of the 20 games i've played maybe 1 or 2 have been 'normal' i.e not full of the best and most expensive players.

It does take the fun out of it.

£40-50 for 400-500hrs gameplay is a good £/hour ratio.
