FIFA 19

Man that was a lot harder than normal for me. Took my very last game to get Gold3.

Had to change my formation for the last 9 games to get 5 wins.

I really want to blame lag and players not performing but that would be a lie lol.

Really stacked teams with really sweaty tactics.

Bobby ended up playing 31 games scoring 24 and assisting 12 at CAM.

Really need to improve my defense my CB pairing cost a total of 5K lol

He has really slow reactions. I'd use engine on him as a chem style personally.

Reactions help players control short passes played at pace or loose balls and with turning, etc. It's a very important stat.

He also has low stamina and should be getting subbed off after 60 mins. I have a player I use with similar stamina but I have him on the bench and bring him on after 30 minutes.
 
arrghhh, im just not good enough and theres so many broken mechanics in this game it triggers me, first game first touch 360 timed no scope top corner, just shouldnt be possible, his second goal Messi out jumping Walker.

I've just been doing the weekly objectives at the moment, settled on a squad to get me through this weekend that won't leave me too bereft of coins.

Mane, Lacazette (3rd time I've bought him, fail), TOTY Mbappe up top.
Firminho in behind (loan atm, but I can do his card for about 400k so I'm doing it)
Gullit and Wijnaldum as the holding players.

Still leaves me a massive stack of coins left over for when I can work out what the **** I want to do with the team.

thought gold 2 only gave you 1 EPL pick? gone from 15-2 to 16-6 sucks, happens every weekend. I must hit my peak ELO and just get left behind.

Also hows wijnaldum might sack Can off for him.
 
Thought it was 1 player from each pick will be EPL? I could be wrong thats just how I interpretted it.

Anybody know if you can do the Saudi one in friendly seasons?
 
Some people are raving about Ederson TOTS, thought he's worth a go for 190k. Seems his speed makes him a menace.

Still sitting on 3.3m, Mbappe POTY out tonight maybe.

Weird, I’ve seen people rave about him

Tbh I don’t think it’s worth spending a lot of money on a decent keeper on this fifa, I’m still using normal none if Alisson

well i folded and bought a few players decided not to go ronaldo route. squad looks like this for the time being was tempted to pick up ederson or alisson and undecided on a mid so going with pogba as quite frankly he's been stellar all year. stoichkov and best are brilliant you really do get icon goals and drama around them. early days but really impressed.

Gold 1 achieved, from 15-2 to 20-9 rough day in the office. Wijnaldum, not 100% sure about everyone i seem to play alongside Vieira doesnt seem to do much maybe because Vieira takes priority not sure how it works.
 
I actually like TOTS Ederson - he hasn't had a clanger for me yet, he lets in the sort of shots that every keeper seems to let in. I love his kicking though, if you play like me 4231 with Fast Build Up and some amazingly pacey wingers then just boom them over the top for days.

Mane is very very good, the first TOTS player I've tried who is a stand out. Rapid, great shooting, physical, surprising in the air. He replaced TOTY Neymar and really I don't see it being much of a downgrade for 1/3 of the cost.

I've never used OP Socrates, but Ribery is a standout player and after about 13 games I'm like Firminho too.
 
I have only been able to play today, won 6 games but am a bit hungover and not in the mood for it. Does that mean i will have to grind for 2k points in rivals to qualify next weekend?

If you get to 11 wins (maybe 8?) then you automatically qualify, else its the Rivals grind for you.
 
Ederson seems to small, punches things that was catachable and never saved a pen with him even when guessing correctly. I actually think he cost me a few games, he scored an OG too one game. Wasnt for me i can tell UCL De gea after 2 games is better already, much more confident. Maybe if i moved my keeper a lot Ederson would be better due to speed but its something i just dont do.
 
Managed to offload my TOTY Van Dijk for 960, paid 880 so a nice 30k profit after tax

Going to try and pick up a TOTS version on rewards day where hopefully he’ll drop to a similar price (he’s only 100k more at the moment!)

TOTS Ederson let in some of the most savable shots I've seen from some pretty average players. Genuinely shocking.

NIF De Gea straight back in and he's in another league.
