FIFA 19

Watching peoples very poor WL player picks, not sure I want to go ahead with the grind this weekend

Also something I have noticed, all the pros play on a small gaming PC monitor. I play on my TV in the living room.

Do it give you that much of an advantage?

it gives you very very very little advantage.

game skill is the most important factor of any game. then ping/lag. then monitor response time. basically if you are crap at the game buying a monitor will mean you are still crap at the game. only those who are decent will be able to take advantage of what a gaming monitor offers over a tv.

i think the reason why they use a monitor mainly is because you can see the whole screen without having to move your eyes or head plus you are so close to the monitor you can see everything in detail. also when using a monitor you are going to be seated upright therefore concentrating more than someone lying down on a couch. or slouching around.

i find with the tv i will stick my feet up and my concentration drops way off. i then have to force myself up when i'm playing terrible to concentrate as i'm just in auto pilot mode when i'm slouching.

basically it's all the aspects around a gaming monitor which will help. you can't slouch anymore, etc. you are 100% concentrated on the whole screen all the time and it's all right in front of you.

there is no point in buying a monitor just for fifa. it won't make too much of a difference.

If he costs a million to do then he won't be worth it for many, in game I doubt you'll notice a difference over his normal card considering it's only +2 increases. With IF's it's usually their 3rd card where you start noticing slight changes, on his form I can't see it being long before he has a 94 card anyway?

Anyone else finding that the ref all too often clashes with one of the teams kits?

I find it bad enough trying to work out player colours when it goes from bright to shadow without the ref making things even more annoying :D

But if the monitor makes you concentrate more, you are going to play better surely?

Slightly, but a new monitor isn't going to up peoples skill rating much if any as that's all down to game sense and awareness of what to do next. It's like using a wired controller, the evidence shows it has less input lag but it's not enough to make any meaningful difference.

Save for bailly or get rudiger over Jones.. Defence is terrible . I feel this game you need good Defenders or your going to concede lots.

what is your definition of a good defender?

my feeling is you need strong well rounded midfielders and at least 3 of them and at least 1 of them being a CDM. i never use my defenders to defend. the majority of mine are all under 80 rated too. they were picked though based on specific stats.

From what I’ve seen playing I’d say your midfield is the most important place to have decent players. After all they do all the running :)

i completely agree with this. but you also need strikers with decent shooting stats and heading/physicality helps too but playing on the ground seems to be the best way to open teams up.

Next month will be either Ramsay or Sigurddson. Can’t see their goals being beaten this month.

there are other leagues out there too

McGinn scored a ridiculous goal for Aston Villa. he will soon be a premiership player. Dembele has scored some good goals for Lyon too.

You need to buy Dembele's OTW card. He is going to get a lot of IF's this year based on his form. This is Moussa Dembele, Ligue 1, Lyon. Only 22 years old but he's strong, explosive and a technical finisher. He's scored some goals out of nowhere in his time and recently too. he's hit the ground running at Lyon.

So after catching up what’s going on? Has the card been released yet? They need to do something to get coins out of the market as prices are sky high.

Played 20 games plus with pogba he’s definitely icon quality. Not sure why he’s so much less than previous years when he was less than stellar.
