Gents, is there any way to keep this thread from replicating that of the EA forums?
I suspect there are folk out there actually wanting to discuss the game, share ideas and ask opinions, but the thread is just just bogged down with the same posts with the same negativity.
Surely, surely, surely (!) if it prompts this rage and kind of replies then the game/this thread isn't worth your time.
I'm too old now to scrutinise FIFA and it's game play, it's a game, everyone has the same rub of the green, it is what it is.
I'm aware the thread will die as seemingly 90% of the users here hate it, but I'd rather posts every now and then just the constant repetition of detest for it! Zzzzzzz

Happy with that. More work needed in attack but felt like I defended well until my players died.

It was a good game, two contrasting play styles! That miss from Mertens was hilarious, I tried just hammering it
I wish I could dribble, Neymar would be a much bigger threat. Also, I don't think I could ever get rid of Witsel, he is too good at winning the ball back. I swear I've had more red cards in this FIFA than the last 10 put together. Saint-Maximum is just a stupidly good supersub!
Really? I have played 250 games now and never seen one goal scored from a FK! I don't even attempt them now.

Love Gnabry! I have had the same team for around 2 weeks now, with only the addition of Neymar to replace Sane. Unheard of but it's just really well balanced. I'm saving for Mbappe but it's going to be weeks (months) for that to come in.

I prefer to have Dembele on the right, 5/5 comes in handy! But I might try him out, been sitting on the same team for the past 2/3 weeks myself and not sure what to change, might have dropped Alaba for Alba and Coman for someone if I hadn't forgotten to do Scream Pique
I begrudged paying the amount for him but he is worth it, rock solid. Perfect combo with Hernandez who is a beast.
I would usually prefer a left footer at RM but he's always in the right position for the low back post crosses.
Had both and although Mane was very good, Neymar just seems to be able to do everything. He's averaging a goal every game for me. Just pops up in all the right places.

I got 11 wins, played all the games last night though so was a struggle in the end.
I had a funny game with one guy.
He missed a penalty after 5 minutes and then instantly got red carded for a challenge that looked very harsh. I then got Reus sent off by two bookable offences that were barely yellow cards! So 10 vs 10 after 15 mins..
He went in front on 65th minute, but I managed to equalise on the 70th. He then went down to 9 men in the 75th min for two bookable offences.
I got a penalty to win the game in the 91st minute to and obviously missed.
Extra time I couldn't make the one man advantage make a difference until 119th minute when I finally cut through and won 2-1.
Some of the refs are mental in this game.
