FIFA 20

First time I've went digital with Fifa.

Got the ultimate edition but it still looks like that standard one I downloaded from EA access so presume I need a code or something for the additional content? I should get a theme, icon loan and 24 packs (over 12 weeks)

Any ideas guys?
 
I've received my pre order packs. I packed rodri from it.

I might build a non-meta team around him. What even is the meta this year?
 
After 6 entire hours on hold to EA I finally got access back to my account !

Seems there hasn't been much movement in terms of prices of players going up or down since standard early access came out, at least not on PC or any of the players I briefly checked on FUTBIN.

edit: Gbmin at Everton is a good option for a cheap defensive premiership midfielder due to his speed and decent physical stats.
 
I’d say so far pace and through balls is the meta, until EA mess it up with a patch

Grabbed a Ben Yedder for 30k this morning (he’s back up at 40k now) and he got a hat trick in his first game in a rivals qualifier

Has anyone done the ‘win 3 online games’ objective required for the early access pack? Wondering if you can do it under any of the new game modes as well as just a traditional match (king of the hill etc)
 
If you have a players that's getting a OTW card, what happens to that card, I take it it's not changed into a OTW card?
Working on that premise, should we be selling those cards before OTW is released or hang on to them? How does OTW affect the price of the NIF cards?
 
Low rent starter squad here. :p Probably going to play 4231 narrow.

Pace is absolutely vital, in defence as well as attack. IF Malen has crazy stats for the price.

Some of these SBC challenges are ridiculous. This new Josef Martinez one requires you to make two squads which have minimum team rating of 85... that's going to cost lots of money, I've got a team full of expensive mid 80 players and my team rating is only 84... am I seriously meant to spend tens/hundreds of thousand of coins to complete this ? Even if I buy all the cheapest high rated players I feel like it's still going to be a chore getting 85 team rating.

Edit: Just realised he's not even tradeable so not sure why anyone would bother with it

Due to his league it's not really worth doing IMO. Too expensive this early in the game.

The early SBC's are a bit tough until you get a few weeks(months) of pack rewards or shovel money in.
 
This is my main squad based around La Liga. Premiership equivalent would cost so much more. The combination of Paulista, Militao and Casemiro set to 'drop between defenders' is like a giant brick wall in defence

I should really just swap Fekir for Isco who's cheaper and would give fully green links down the left bu Fekir seems ridiculously good so far.

Is the general idea to hoard tons of players to complete the SBC's ? Is this more profitable than just lumping them on transfer list and quick selling ? Any players below 80 I've just been selling, all 75 and unders get quick sold cause im lazy.

Keep hold of them, whilst players have any special card in packs their normal gold card isn’t, which makes it rarer and as a result normally goes up in price
