I don't know - honestly I think I've played it too much this past couple of days. Spent a lot of time on the game and I'm having trouble adjusting, and I'm getting frustrated.

Squad still needs work, I'm still trying to discover the meta, at the moment I hate it but thats because I'm not enjoying the game.

GG on Messi insane.

I think this is also the best Fifa I've played in a very long time. It's by no means perfect, but there's a big skill gap and learning curve. Give it a short break then go again mate. Forget about record and focus on improving.

Things I'd like patching:
1v1 conversion rate
Goalkeeper parrying rebounded goals
Increase manual tackles win success rate
Menus are gash
RS player switching speed.


@Jimbeam3678 Good games mate. First 2 was close, third one I ran away looked like you lost your head. Always enjoy playing you though always competitive.

I'm sure there's an element of truth to this. I usually spend a couple of hundred quid on FIFA points and I'm sure I get more frustrated because I feel like I should be buying wins.

Decided this year not to spend a penny beyond buying the game, I'm enjoying it loads more cause even if I lose I think "meh, got some coins still".
 
It's such a nice change when you occasionally are lucky enough to stumble upon another player who actually wants to play something vaguely resembling a real football match, 95% of the games I play are just people cheesing the game mechanics and abusing pace which I totally get as it's a competitive game (I'm guilty of it at times as well) but I do wish more people actually tried to play realistic(ish) looking 'football' rather than just relying on cheese, but its a sports game and the META in them is nearly always cheese.

I hear ya. Coming from Fifa 19 where most attacking players had finishing in the 90-99 region to the team I have now where I'm lucky if some have over 80 (without chem style boost) gets frustrating. Clean through and the shot goes wide. Also, the keepers seem better at 1-on-1s to me at the minute.
My team also has an annoying habit of making runs but making them directly behind the nearest defender or 2, with the passing ability of most of my players I just can't play them in.

I'm hoping that once I get a better squad these things will annoy me less.

I'm currently rocking 2 squads, a Serie A and La Liga squad. I do this for fitness reasons. I know there's a bug but I figure that'll get patched out sooner rather than later.
Both squads cost less than 100k coins, so I can't expect much really. Just waiting for a good pull that I can sell for some nice coins.

When I started Fifa 19 just after Christmas I was probably doing much worse than I am now, but things seem worse now as I've some idea what they could be like with nice players. When I started playing fifa 19 ignorance was bliss!
 
I've only played 4 online FUT games but so far enjoying it. The dribbling is much improved so you can actually beat a man now that makes it a lot more fun. The shooting is random but I really don't want them to implement a 'shooting type', finesse with 19, driven shot in 18. It's random in real life so keep it that way. Defending is difficult at times, the rebounds from keepers are annoying but I think its been this way for as long as I can remember!

Rotating between 433 and 4222 depending on how the game is going, 4222 with my uber cheap team is bringing success.
 
Some real comedy goals at times. Its quite amusing when you score them but rage inducing when you concede them. :p

Opposition player last night toe poked back to Alisson who just stood and watched it go into the net. :D
