Got to have more Utd players starting to make Utd feel special.
8 in 20 under Hodgson for England.
He also works hard, links play well, and can stretch Italy both wide and behind the defence.
I really rate Lallana and Barkley, but Roy's picked a team he thinks is capable of beating Italy. That's not necessarily the "best" 11 players.

Fair enough. What I've seen of him this year at club level I've not been impressed, that could just be the club issue.

8 in 24 for England, 4 of them coming against San Marino and Moldova. G|mp could score against them! Plus all but one of the rest came in friendlies, where the shape and personnel of the teams are constantly being messed with.
1 in 3 is not to be sniffed at, but Heskey could have done that in those matches.
This, really. I'm a big advocate of playing attacking football and trying to outscore the opposition but I can understand why it doesn't always happen.
I might have put Rooney on the left though and Lallana or Barkley in the #10 role.
