FIFA World Cup 2018 - Final [15 July] **spoilers**

How the **** do half of you expect to react to a player missing the ball a yard in front of you and withdraw your arm behind your back? Have you jumped whilst running before?
I don't think some people here even understand how natural body movement works.
Was never a penalty. Players who don't want to give away a penalty instinctively bring their arm closer to their body if the ball is coming near it. Bad decision.
That's exactly what happened. He was clearly trying to move his leg to the ball and his hand away.

Never an intentional handball.

He didn't have time to get his hand out the way - it's all very well letting it hit your hand, but if you see it a fraction of a second earlier what else can you do?
That ball came in from the wing, without a deflection so there’s no defence of not having time, because ultimately if your hand is away from the body it’s deemed to be in un-natural position, which is considered enough to be deliberate.

Not seeing the flight of the ball isn’t even an excuse, otherwise wall’s at free kicks would just turn round...

I would literally appeal for a penalty every corner if this is the way football is going, it's a joke.
Yup, my interest in this joke of a sport is definitely declining.

Can't even get video refs right. Joke.

It's not just this match, even. The whole tournament they've been giving joke penalties. Most of them extremely controversial, and that's being generous.
