Please respect Croatia a population of only 4 million. We dominated the first half but Croatia had more hunger and experience. They were the better team in the end. We should have put it away in the first half.
I hope they beat France.

At turned of the day the players found their level.
Can crushing their way to the semis where they came up against a better team of players.
Players like Perisic showed they are better than delli alli for example.

Columbia sent Ospina up in their match against us and his presence may have helped create space for their equaliser

Terrible performance really. We don’t do well going ahead early. Bit similar to Iceland at the Euros.
Very good to get to the semis though.
Lol at the comment about too many Spurs players. They carried us to the semis!
France are going to do what we couldn’t, show this Croatia team up for being bang average. Hopefully they get a better ref too.
Til next time. Good experience for the most inexperienced team in the tournament though. Hopefully Sterling won’t make it in the Euro 2020 squad

Congratulations to a much improved England team. Never expected to get out the group let alone a semi final. Everyone should feel very proud tonight.

Agreed DM, we lack midfield creativity. With someone like Modric, KdB, etc in midfield we'd be miles better. We don't control the tempo of games. Henderson tried his best but it's not his natural role or position.

Fair play to Croatia, adjusted well.
England did fantastic, semis and lost a very close game which we could have easily done.

We didn't deserve to win. First half we missed too many chances when we were on top and then from the second half we were just nowhere near. Judging on that performance if we had scraped through we most likely would have bene embarrassed by France to be honest.
