Indeed, if you're USA or Mexico you only play a decent team in a competitive game once every 4 years.

Only really the CONMEBOL and UEFA teams play anyone decent between World Cups.

This is all new to them, they haven’t developed the love for it over many years like we have. You can’t even play music in some ME countries. It just takes time to begin to really appreciate it.
