I'd rather have a player who is 9/10 for 15 years than a superstar who has a window of about 4 years.

Rush also won 2 champions leagues and was banned from playing for 5 years because of Liverpool so would have undoubtedly won more.

We have not even started the debate with Giggs who had a career spanning 20 years.+

All I am saying is there is always a lot of recency bias when talking about these things and I hate Liverpool.

It wasn't 4 years, you're being dramatic there.

But that's changing the goal posts to include length of playing time. Bale had some bad injuries at points. Best player of Wales sounds like we're talking about talent. Bale could do what Rush did for Liverpool, Rush wouldn't have been able to do what Bale did on the pitch

Wales must beat England and hope for a draw between the United States and Iran - or else beat England by four goals or more to be sure.

The winner of USA and Iran, if there is one, goes through.
