Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - I feel so let down...

I thourght they all sounded great, Vincent is a bit more...gritty than I imagined and Cid sounds totaly differant to what I heard in my head but they all work pretty well.

Cloud, Yufie, Tifa, Barret and Aeris I think are dead on.

Hmmm this is something I need to watch.

Can I ask before I watch this:

Is it weird them having voices? As I take it many of the fans like myself have, in their heads an idea of how these people would sound after playing the game, and then to hear them in a film, I imagine it's kind of weird, almost on a level of watching a film based on a book, then finding they don't quiet measure up to your picturing of the character.

I hope that makes sense.

I had that fear too so watched it in japanese

Advent Children Complete is definately the one to get as it improves on the story quite a bit. Just a shame that it is very noticable in the HD quality when you compare older scenes (Slightly blurry i.e. pretty much been filtered) with the newly added/edited scenes (Extremely sharp).

It has been, i bought the bluray of Advent Children: Complete for £11.99 from a very popular online retailer. Just looked now, it's still in stock.
Oooo I just made a girly squeel of excitement :p :D Thanks for the email buddy :) Might just have to grab me some blu-ray action :D

I don't think Barret or Cid looked right, I had them down as bigger built, both looked almost right but a bit too lean - especially in Barret's case if you compare him to the one in the Shinra HQ cutscene.

I loved it :) Can't wait until it is released on Blu-Ray in the UK :)

By the way, epic bump :D

I thankyou. *bows* :D

The extended scenes (well one in particular) are brilliant! I am a complete fan boy so I wouldn't listen to my ravings to much, but the fights are just perfect! The story not so much.

Maybe a lil bit OT but is the Blu-Ray worth the purchase?

I already have this on DVD but it keeps catching my eye this whenever I go in to town, are the extra goodies you get on the Blu-Ray any good and what is the video and sound quality like?

:)

People in "movie spinoff not as good as most epic game ever created" shocker.

I quite enjoyed it, was a bit to "anime" for me but I don't like all that jazz too much anyways. However, I thought as a FF fan it was awesome. Not enough RED XIII and other characters from recollection if memory serves.

This is like saying you're a fan of Harry Potter books but found the films a little dissapointing. It's like expecting the Terminator films were going to be any good after the second one, and so on.
