Could be because they're limiting the logins even further atm.

Bit wary to do anything in the game that means i'll see a loading screen in case i get booted

Really sucks because its putting a huge downer on what is actually a really enjoyable game

All the servers are NA, they just tagged some as EU is all. NA/EU are all in the same data center.

I thibnk they let people on the servers and once they were full disabled the server list :|

They might have it working again before long

I'm able to get into the game on Odin on the PS3 version now, but still not on PC. Guess I'll do some quests on there until I can log into the PC version for dungeons and whatnot.

Can you play on your PC account on the PS3? I mean same character?

Yep! It works like FFXI did - everything syncs across your account/character so I can log out on the PC and pick up playing exactly where I was on the PS3. Also any achievements you earn on the PC version that have Trophies attached to them can be obtained by speaking to an NPC (which I'm still trying to locate).

That's pretty decent

I'm frightened to turn my PS3 on, been standing for about a year now

Will probably get this on the PS4 though so i can do some late night leveling.

Edit: Unable to update character EU/NA something or other....pssh, this is the only game i actually want to sit down and play its also the only game that's isn't allowing me to.

it may be worth holding off for the PS4 version indeed, you'd have to buy a copy on the PS3 to play anyways so you might as well buy the next-gen one.

I was getting the same error message, but after rebooting my PC I'm able to get to the Character Selection screen (which I wasn't able to reach before). My server seems to be full though, can't even queue :/

Edit: Nevermind, DC'd and now I'm back to that error message.

The infrastructure they've set up in NA must be fairly weak compared to JP, their servers have been totally fine. I can't even see the NA/EU server list now, don't get chance to even have errors!

I have excellent connection to JP apparently???

I restarted my pc andcan see the NA/EU again now.
