I've looked all over Newbury and Swindon for this game, can't believe it's this hard to get hold of. Roughly how long is it taking you guys to get into a server? Your reports make it seem like it takes a significant amount of time :/

I've had it take vastly different times on different days (for obvious reasons), ranging between instantaneous login to several hours. I just gave up yesterday because I was still unable to get in after hammering the login from 17:00 until 19:00.

I just tried solidly for 10 mins to get in to Odin.. waste of time:/ But then my LAPM speed isn't very good (thats Login Attempt Per Minute)....

If you want to play the best time to login is early morning I have found... not much use if you have to go out & can't leave your PC on.. :rolleyes:

Start out as Lancer and get that to 30. You then need to have Marauder at level 15 to qualify for the quest to get Dragoon.

i love this game just a shame i cant get on i had the headstart and i have only managed to get to lvl 21 been trying for the past hour but wont even put me in the queue

To compensate for the server issues if you register your copy before Sept 9th you get an extra week free (on top of the month free you get with the purchase of the game)

The free week is even for people who only used a pre-order key, you get it even if you never entered the retail one.

Well i want to play this, but this world is full bs is basically killing my desire to play.

If it keeps up then i just wont bother anymore, i'd rather be sat in a 2-3 hour queue as at least then i'd know when im going to get on.

Only just seen this, I was actually playing all today and joined a random FC. Is your FC an old guild or something mate? Give me a friend request however - Ion Pace if you need a tank only 23 ATM however.

Yea, it should allow you to join a queue at least. Just randomly telling you its full, and having to spam knowing it's pure luck to get in is quite annoying tbh.
Logged on this morning, but made the mistake and logged out

Will know in future to stay logged in. Not cool for other folk I know, but everyone else is doing it

They need to kick people at char select or afk for 10mins+ that would make it fairer. Truly awful at the moment.

10 minutes is a bit short.

But yes, combining the issues with logging in with the lack of AFK kick its just getting stupid. I wouldn't be surprised if there were as many as a 1000 people or more who stay logged in all the time. I logged in yesterday when I got home from work at 5pm. Went out climbing just before 7pm and hell if I was logging out. Came back just after 10pm still sat in my room at the inn and continued playing.

And it seems the BT issues have suddenly come into action again. Just after 7pm it turned horrifically laggy. Calms down occasionally then becomes unplayable again seemingly at random.

Well an hour and a half till they bring it down for the 10 hour maintenance/new servers(iirc)!

Lets see if this fixes the issues. See you on the other side

So is this game suffering from the same problems that near enough every MMO ever has suffered from in that 90% of the population all try to roll on one or 2 servers, then complain about queues whilst other servers sit empty? Because that's the way I'm reading it right now.
