Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn

Anyone in the beta atm for this one? Noticed they have started phase 2 of the test! Could do with knowing a few people apart from me and my g/f! :p

yes ff14 was such a flop they shut it down and are now remaking it!

ffxi was my first and fav mmorpg, loved the storys and missions and have fond memorys of trying to get through the chains of promathia missions b4 they made them easier! so yeah looking forward to giving this a go.

I remember FF 11 being alright for questing and stuff. so ill try this FF 14 even if it is sub-based..

Hi there guys I am just getting setup for the beta version as I got my invite through e-mail today I was wondering how many people from the forums were up for teaming up and sticking together for a story-based party.

How many more of you are playing the BETA?
 
Playing the beta and loving it so far.
Im a loner in these sorta games the 1st playtrough though horrorxpunk so no teaming up for me, but grats u also got in :D
 
I started playing this last night as I had my beta invitation through and I got to say I am quite liking the game though I only got up to the 2nd quest as it was 1:20am before I got that far lol. But am liking it so far.
 
I'm not getting through to the beta forum for the client link. It just keeps looping the square enix account login after loading the front forum page as text only; which suggests theres something wrong with the forum?

Edit: Found this fix. Access the Square Enix Account Management System (https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/login?cont=account) and follow these instructions posted by Witch_Hazel
If you are able to login to Account Management but have found yourself being sent back to Account Management every time you try to access the Beta Forums via the e-mail link, try following these instructions (I had the same problem): Log into Account Management -> Go to Services and Options and select Service -> Select FFXIV -> Under Active Service Accounts you will see two buttons, Options and Renew (or similar) Service -> Select Renew Service -> Select Reactivate Account (it looks like you are trying to reinstate your old FFXIV account). Once you do this, it will make your registered Beta account active and then you may proceed to the Beta Forums. I know the posters telling you to read the instructions may not have dealt with this issue so wouldn't have any idea what it is you are trying to resolve. This is what worked for me - Hope it helps!

These instructions aren't so clear so to review; login, under 'Service and Options' on the left click 'Select Service', 'Final Fantasy XIV', follow the instructions to cancel the service and then it should lead you to a page which has 'Renew Service' as an option. Once this is done it should show under the 'Options List' for Final Fantasy XIV; 'FFXIV: A Realm Reborn - Beta Test' as well any older subscriptions such as 'FINAL FANTASY XIV - Windows(R) Beta Test'.

This should allow you to login to the forums but it hasn't worked for me though. :(

I'll take a key off you if you have another spare. Quite interested to see how it plays compared to the old one. :)
