Finally, a Northern meet thread.

really gutted i have man flu and never made it :(

Feel 100x's better today as well!

Cars are looking great, any chance of another being organised in say August???

I think 416 was going backwards when I passed him on the way home

When I got overtaken by an average Focus that must have been going 130mph my low level of self control went out the window. It wasn't a surprise when I got home an hour earlier that expected that's for sure. Clean run home over some lovely smooth roads and Amanda slept the whole way despite a lot of VTEC action, kept banging her head on the door :D

I saw you catching up Naf, all I saw was headlights and backed off as I tought you were a member of law enforcement. I love the sound of your car to say it's a diesel, best shape Leon too.

Excellent choice of roads guys. Shame about some of the traffic but Tim made light work of it when he took me for a ride. Awesome car. Reminds me of the old Jordan Honda F1 cars alternative tobacco ads, "Buzzin Hornets". Shame I have to put some money into the house before I start mullng over new cars.

So who's who then?

Glad you enjoyed it, although I had kinda hoped you were scared of my juddering brakes, rather than the way I was driving:o

I'm a fearless driver and a scared little girl passenger. The brake judder did not aid my man points at all! The driving was spot on. I've got a link to pass you btw :)

I didn't dare ask for pass rides for some reason. Would like to experience all the cars as we were all pretty similar power wise. Next time!

I made it home fine, I was doing 80 on the way back to save fuel, and when I pulled over it was for a wee in the trees next to the road :D

Car was fine, so pleased at how it put the power down! Hope it suprised a few of you for a 10 year old shed :p

The Clio tried to kill me on multiple occasions by skipping all over the place round corners and understeering like a ... Tim seemed to enjoy the sheer madness of it though :p

Me and pete had a hairy moment with that cliff :D

Best bit was the fact no one apart from me noticed the old guy getting increasingly peed of with us revving, so I signalled for us to hurry the **** up and go before he came over, promtly followed by Tom parking in front of me and repeatedly redlining his 172! Tool :p

Aye, although it wasn't the oldest car there. The waitress was particularly amusing in taking the mick lol.

Quite possibly the highlight of the day, still makes me chuckle. The guy looked like he was about to murder someone.

This was of course after Dup and Darryn racing towards the pub in Vtec before the ABS kicking in and scaring off a load of sheep and ramblers :D
