Finally, a Northern meet thread.

Ohh and Darryn is an awesome driver. He showed me what a Civic can do and I was quite impressed :)

Thanks, i was a little worried after that the hard late breaking before pulling back into the carpark might have unsettled you. :D

That little spirited driving run behind Dup was the best fun ive had in my Civic, my 2x handbrake turns were also, infact, Epic. :o

Both those bits were awesome :D

Locking the wheels when those cyclists crossed the road was a bit hairy :o and yeah, in the carpark they really weren't impressed. I don't think they associated my car with the silly vroom tish noise I was making though! :p

When both you and Dup flew past the pub it made us all chuckle like little kids, which it was all about really :p Even the group of cyclists getting ready to leave the pub were suitably impressed :D

Think it was exiting from the first Whitby carpark.

I'm not sure if it was Runswick Bay or Whitby but I think almost everyone wheelspan out of that car park I saw one woman with her hands to her kids ears from the noise which promptly made me **** myself with laughter.

It's official the North meets are full of nutters :p

Aye, I even got mine sideways a few times - especially out of that petrol station :p

One of them was completely unintentional though, back end stepped out after I misjudged a very very fast crest (2 mins after leaving the Lion Inn) which was most definitely a 'ohh shh...' moment.

some of you were mad, i thought Darryn was gonna hit me when he handbraked it at sandsend carpark, the 'white streak' aka, Tim's Type R flying past the lion inn was also fun. I'm suprised we never had a police presence at some point (that doesn't include the van that drove past us in Saltburn).

I can't wait to sort another one out now :D

Indeed the roads up there can catch you out very very quickly. I think the route we took was perfect as were the stopping points and at least we know thats the ideal one for next time.

What about the old dude who wanted to drag Naf out of his car after calling him a ****head :p

Shortly followed by EVERYONE flooring it away in first :p

What a bunch of hooligans we are!

Haha, I still can't work out why he was annoyed that I was driving out of a car park space? He was about 10foot away when he started mouthing off

Still, diesel smoke has a lot of uses ;)

When I got overtaken by an average Focus that must have been going 130mph my low level of self control went out the window. It wasn't a surprise when I got home an hour earlier that expected that's for sure. Clean run home over some lovely smooth roads and Amanda slept the whole way despite a lot of VTEC action, kept banging her head on the door :D

I saw you catching up Naf, all I saw was headlights and backed off as I tought you were a member of law enforcement. I love the sound of your car to say it's a diesel, best shape Leon too..

Yeah I did wonder what that focus was about, I saw him come flying past me and was like "okay then, steady on" then saw you behind him and thought sod it and attempted to catch up.

Switched my lights on as I usually do when making progress, saw you backed off a few times but whenever I got a bit close your dropped it  aha

Safe to say, my road angel showed the highest number it ever has done when attempting to catch you ;)

The one handbrake turn that I saw you do was awesome, the WTF look on the fishermans face bahaha!! I was a little embarrassed and didn't know where to look tbh, but I just laughed it off (still chuckling about it now), epic indeed:D

I seem to remember you saying that incident caused you a stone chip, if it did, sorry, let me know and ill pay to have it touched up. :)

Don't worry about it lol, i don't think it did really, i just heard a stone hit my bodywork somewhere, tbh i couldn't care less as i'm having half a spray job done in a few weeks anyway to get rid of the key mark on my rear half etc.
