Finally, a Northern meet thread.

Sounds like it could be interesting. 78 miles for me, but should be good fun just getting there!

Should be there only 30/40min away...arriving in Mondeo ST24 (as long as i aint selling caravans that weekend!!)
 
Dup - Civic Type R. The other half will probably attend too but don't worry, shes not a whining whore and likes cars too.

I've not looked too much into the route planned. But a lot of the surrounding roads certainly have blind crests and corners along with the odd sheep dotted around. Having said that, they're still a blast to drive on and there are nice open stretches too :D

Yes mate was going text you but lost your number some how (get on MSN or something :)), should be a good meet and hopefully nice day like when we went up.

hmmm, at a guess, i bought it new in september '07, so it was just over a year old when you bought it, so i'd guess at the very very most 10,000 actuations and that's being generous to be honest. Is it with any particular lens or anything, try cleaning the contacts on the lens mount and see if it happens, it definitely shouldn't be happening so soon (though i don't know how much you've used it lol).

FWIW, i never had any err99's on it.

I'm off the sat/sun after next and was going to suggest a dry run of the meet for the locals (Tom, pete etc?) Let me know what you think and we'll sort something out, my msn is in trust, feel free to add me :)
