Good plan she will have a whole weeks experience before hooning on the southern meet :D Probably still be quicker than some :D

Pink cast is the best colour, gets all the girls! I had one when I was 13 and was definitely the best choice of colour. Nobody cared when I had a blue one! Hope your recovery goes well though mate.
 
Your face in that photo is priceless. I feel for you though, I've been without my bike for nearly 3 months while I've been away with work and have been missing it loads.

Obviously that dosen't compare to your situation as I dont have to put up with the pain, or the embarassment of getting ferried around asda in a wheelchair and a pink cast! On the plus side nobody will think that she's your sister and people will think you're punching well above your weight!
