Firewatch

What the hell? So now wanting to get something for as little as possible is somehow frowned upon?

All you guys buying on Steam should be ashamed then! You should all be purchasing the £40 copy on PS4! Gotta support those developers!

Jesus, OcUK is full of delusional idiots. "Sense of entitlement", lol, grow up.

Well I might have just bought this, far too easy to buy games on steam!!

As for price and supporting developers, well, it's a tough one. I think PC gaming suffers more than other platforms in this regard and anything that makes PC gaming harder for developers to support isn't great. However, support the developers if you want, if you want to find a game cheaper elsewhere then do that, if it causes developers problems then they should close the loophole, simples!

Maybe both sides of the argument could do with calming down somewhat..

I'll be playing this from the sofa on my new Panasonic 55inch:) Just got towait until the wife watches her usual crap on the tv.

On the sofa with my laptop, play all my games this way! Not ideal for online shooters however as my aim is bad enough without using a cushion as a mouse pad...

Ah forgot this came out today. Been at home all day as well.
At least I have my evning ahead of me. Just got to Day 1. Liking the little bit so far. Feel this is going to be one of those games that will just chill me out. Promising start

Got to day 78.

Encountered two game breaking bugs. Reported them both on steam discussion and they deleted my threads. Getting a refund.

And the bugs were?

Had an issue with my xbox one controller.
Then I got stuck in a rock.

Then the main one is. Spoilers below by the way.
Day 78, Found the body, left the cave to the left. Can't make contact with Delilah to report the body, its not giving me the option to use the radio.
So I went back in the cave, left to the right as apparently this was the intended exit for that section of the game. Still not giving me the option. Got all the way back to my tower. Still can't do it.
Exited the game and reloaded my save. It had autosaved at the bottom of the tower.

So now I need to find a save where I was up to / Play the game again up to that point / Refund the game and pretend it never existed.

Just completed it...think I agree with the reviews that say the storyline is pretty much a sideshow to the interaction with Delilah. Thoroughly enjoyed it though the ending was anticlimactic but poignant!

I'm currently on day 2 and enjoying the story so far :)

I don't want to say to much as its one of them games people need to enjoy for themselves with out anyone spoiling anything , basically you are a park ranger and you talk to your boss on a Radio and she tells you what to do but is it all what it seems ? That is the story so far.

Just finished it. Anyone who is looking for a long game this isn't for you. Only took about 4-5 hours. Still enjoyed it despite it's length.

Ah, thanks for this. I was just looking at this on Steam and was interested. But that's not much gameplay really. Is there much replayability in it? I find that usually these 'choices matter' claims made by story-based games are just a smokescreen for what is actually rather linear gameplay.

Although other countries paying 3.60 for the same game is really irritating, £14 is a good price for a game like this IMO

It is easily understandable though?

I mean look at so many places where if they wanted this game £14 would be months of saving compared to here where it is a days work.

It is annoying when you look at in on the surface i understand that but i certainly understand why it's the way it is..

Honestly pal i won't be playing it again any time soon. It's not that it's a bad game. It just isn't magical. Ive seen some reviews compare it to the likes of the last of us and life is strange.... unfortunately im going to have to say those people are idiots. It's no where near in the same league as either of those. Of course this is purely my opinion. Other than the playtime everything is subject to peoples tastes and such.
