First Build! :D

Tokin it's easier to tell you on hear, it's new and on the bay, I just typed in cpu cooler and clicked on one of them and on the top of there page it has a catagory section where the item is listed on the item page i clicked that and every cpu cooler for sale comes up :D

Hi i have found a new 650w coolermaster gx psu and it's new but no box, it's come out of a pc case, will this be any good???

If someone is claiming that it is new, but without a box or an original purchase receipt, I would be cautious. Reason is simple: the unit received mixed reviews, and although the new batch is better, it only just came out. So, in case you wish to RMA the unit to the manufacturer, should anything go wrong, you will need the proof of purchase and original packaging - just something to keep in mind.

As for using the unit to power your C2Q/GTX9800 system, it will do the job fine, as you won't be running it anywhere near the cross load scenario where most reviewers started taking pot shots at it. Still, do not pay through the roof for it. :) Without its warranty and packaging, I would say its value is around 25-35 quid max.

Here is a review for the updated unit, just so you can make your own mind up on it:

Well, it boils down to what you want to do with the PC. If it's just watching video, browsing and some Sims, HD4350 will do. I would say, if you can't get that GTX9800 or a similar card for about £30+ now, stick with what you have and save up for for a later upgrade on the GPU side.

Found these:

I have picked these out of the list as they are made using a newer core than the ones with 320MB or 640MB (which were the first release along time ago).

So if you can try and just focus on 512MB or 1GB cards.

POV nVidia GeForce 8800GT 512mb Graphics Card g92 core

Found this and it comes with a box and is £8 with p&P so will go with this and it's 512mb :D
