I can uninstall the mouse drivers? mouse was working before I installed them.

One thing actually, I wasnt on the newest ATI drivers before I upgraded. Anyone know of any problems with the 6.3s?

Is there any settings in the CCC that could cause problems?

I'm not aware of any specific issues with the 6.3s but Audigys are fairly notorius for flakey drivers and I see the odd problem with Copperhead mice in general (mice that need a firmware update :confused: ).

Given you didn't have them installed before it might be a good starting place. Seems strange that it's related to video/gaming though. Maybe it is the 6.3s.

ive got the latest firmware on the mouse (6.17)

just tried another vid and got the following BSOD

A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated
 
quite wierd this. did a race in need for speed most wanted and it didnt crash. just set the game up, did one race and was ok. also did two holes in tiger woods 2006, didnt crash and then quit.

anything else, including anything in media player crashes the pc :confused:
 
yeh im going to do that when i go to bed just in case.

one strange thing...

the games that havent crashed are set to 1600x1200, the ones that have crashed where all set to 1920x1200. bizarre.

what volt settings should i have in the bios, everything is pretty much stock at the moment.
 
how long does it usually take ocuk to respond to webnotes, never had a prob with their stuff before so first time ive used it. thought id see what their opinion on it was
 
Sounds as if you may have a naff Graphics card. Have you tried a different card in to see if you get the same problems?
 
gutted :(

uninstalled the cat 6.3 drivers, did driver cleaner and then put the ones on that come on the cd.

then in the cat control centre it crashed when i clicked the 3d tab. where it shows the moving car. in other words when some graphics where moving onscreen.

got an irq not equal BSOD
